today is my first day of p3. Please tell me if I am adding too much too soon:
    Breakfast:
6.5 oz grilled chicken breast w/ taco seasoning (left over from p2)
4 T salsa (Pace picante- no sugar, no starch)
2 T almond butter (no sugar)
1/2 slice of Kraft cheese single 2%

    for lunch, I am planning:
5 oz. grilled chicken breast w/ taco seasoning (left over from p2)
    2 cups raw spinach
    2 T olive oil
    2 T balsamic vinegar

weight lift (I did this throughout p2 and still lost, so will continue throughout all phases)

    dinner, I am planning:
Jay Robb protein shake with coconut milk (unsweetened)
    strawberries

Are those too little calories? I am 5'7 and 130 (back to my pre-prgenancy weight, but still have a pooch tummy from c-section). I am afraid the weight will come back. Also, should I continue drinking lots of water?

Any inputs would be nice. Grammy? Anyone?

Yes, continue drinking your water. Your calorie intake does seem low. I never counted calories, just ate till I was satisfied. My daughter did the same. we stabilized very well at 1 lb over liw.

Some on here do worry about calories, but I know many who dont. They just eat, but add in new foods slowly and see how the body reacted. I really would eat more if I were you, unless that amount of food makes you feel really stuffed.

I am just so afraid to add in fats, even the good fats. After breakfast, my stomach felt so heavy. Do you suggest adding all the calories on the first day of p3 (I need about 1800-2000 cals to maintain my weight) or should I gradually add it in?

I would not eat Kraft singles. That's processed cheese food not real cheese unless it's something special I'm unfamiliar with. Otherwise you're doing great! You don't have to worry about calories. Just eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full. Make sure you're at least doubling your protein from what it was in P2 because you were on the verge of protein deficiency.

    cabbagexpatch,

I never tried to reach a certian number of calories. I truly never counted. So really cant answer your question about reaching a certian number the first day.

This is what I did. I selected a food to try. Eggs. made my self an omelete cooked in butter with sugarfree bacon, tomatoes, avocados. Ate what I wanted till I was full. For lunch, picked a protein. Made sure it was a least double the amount of p-2, ate whatever veggies I wanted (with butter), till I was full. Same with dinner. I stayed away from fruit the first 5 days or so, and then added in strawberries, or apples. just one serving a day.

NO sugar or starches till well into p4. then added those very very slow.

Snacked on almonds or avocados, or mug cake (minus the nasty cocoa powder. I used cinnamon instead).

Never had a problem stabiliziing. Also followed the protocol to a T and only did long rounds.

oh and another thing. Dont be afraid of good fats. Without sugar and starch, good fats wont make you fat.
