    I am on day 13 of P4, doing okay I guess, trying to take it slow. Yesterday I decided to try pizza, took 4 bites and thought it was so salty and saucy, and threw the rest away. I also had a piece of banana bread, other than that ate good. Woke up today to a 1.4 gain, and started my period. So I have no idea if the food I ate hurt me or if it is my period. So I am going to do a steak day, my LIW is 144.4, and today I weigh 147.2. I also crave choc and am starving right now due to my period, UGH. Guess I will chug water and hope that keeps my tummy from getting angry with me.

    offroad---I wouldn't be surprised if it's TOM, more than those bites of treats. The timing makes me think so. If it is, you will know soon enough, because it'll flush out with the water you're drinking.

    Magnesium supplements will help you with that chocolate craving. When you're skinny again and not on this diet, you can also just eat a couple servings of beans for the chocolate craving. lol. I know that sounds craz-azy, but my gyno told me that years ago and she was right. There is magnesium in beans, and it took my chocolate cravings away immediately. I started planning to cook beans when I was due to have PMS and didn't have those cravings anymore.

    Of course, when you're skinny and eating a healthy diet everyday like we are all learning in this plan, you might just want to have a dark chocolate indulgence when TOM comes calling and skip the beans. Everything in moderation when those days come, right? :]

    ok so, i sabotage myself at least once a week..... drink double the water, drink some dieters tea, skip the fruit until your back down..

    OOh, I hate beans. I can do the choc crack and be okay, it is just today when I am doing the steak day that I find myself wanting it the most and hungry as a bear. I will have to look into the magnesium supplements, thanks vegglover.
    Missrhonda, gosh if I doulbled the water I drink now, I would be drinking about 260 oz. I get about 130 a day right now. And I love my diet green tea. I will just have to growl until dinner, and keep the kids away from me :) Just hope the scale is nicer to me tomorrow, thanks.

    I hope so, I freak and feel so disappointed in myself if my scale goes to 146, 145 GREAT, but 146 feels like a let down. So far have downed 90 oz. of water, and its only 5:30. Can't wait to eat! Do most people (ok girls) usually go up in weight during TOM, and does it stay the whole time. If I do a steak day today and maybe high protein day tomorrow (we'll see) should I just avoid starches all together and really low sugar the whole time, so that I know if it is TOM or not? That is frustrating.

    Okay, so after doing the steak day, perfectly, I only lost 1 pound (146.2) I decided to do a high protein day yesterday to try to get down a little more, drank tons, about 140 oz, and lots of protein. Woke up today and gained .6. So now I am back over my LIW by .4, so am I supposed to do another stupid steak day today, or do you think it is just my TOM? This is the third day of it. I just don't know, and it is depressing me. Please tell me what to do. I wish I knew if it was really TOM and not food, although I didn't eat any sugar or carbs at all on Friday or Saturday. Again should I avoid eating starches and sugar all together throughout my TOM? Sorry, to bug but really confused and don't want to screw up my weight and keep going up if I should be doing steak day or not. Help me please.
