Made a mug cake for dessert tonight......added whipped cream and fresh blueberries!! Delish!! Seem to be maintaining well at or around 141, up 0.4 from last injection, and GI issues have subsided a bit! Life is good so far in P3, but am anxious to go back to P2 and lose that last bit of fat!
sounds awesome Jacki! I just bought blueberries so I'll have to try that sometime. I haven't introduced them to P3 yet, but I have already cracked into the cocoa! I had a half serving of cocoa crack and it was sinfully delish! I probably shouldn't have it so soon, only day 3 for me. My LIW was 138 and this a.m. it was 139. but I think it was GI issues.
Great weight Nena! I was hoping to make it to139....didn't happen though! I keep hearing about the cocoa crack.....think I'll do a search and find the recipe! I especially like the blueberries in the greek yogurt....I add a little sweet n low and its like eating blueberries with cream! The only thing I am missing are hamburger rolls and french fries! I am a cheeseburger queen! LOL Are you going to do another round or did you lose what you wanted already?
the first taste was a little weird because of the smoothness of the coconut oil, but after a another bite, I got used to it real fast! I was hoping to get to 135lbs. well, I thought all I could hope for was 140lbs. though, so I'll take it! I just still seem to have a little bit of a muffin top though, that I keep noticing :-/
I pretty much got down to my goal weight, thankfully! I am 5'8" but I had been up to 185 a few years back, but i lost it the hard way, and then gained 20lbs. of it back this year, from going out to dinner and hormone therapy. so this has been my salvation! I have greek yogurt, I'll try that too!
cocoa crack is 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, 2 tablespoons of powdered unsweetened cocoa and then some stevia, or I used Xylitol about a teaspoon and a half, and poured it into a very shallow small cup, you can put it on waxed paper I guess, but it looked too liquidy to me. You are also supposed to melt the coconut on the stove with the cocoa, but in this hot weather, the oil was already melted so I just mixed it together right in the bowl and stuck it in the refridgerator. It was a little stuck in the bowl, so I nuked it for 10 seconds, and it popped right out with a litle push of a table knife.
Sounds easy enough.....I'll have to try it! Are you taking anything for the GI issues? The probiotics and digestive enzymes have really helped. Thanks to the ladies on here that recommended them!
yes, I am taking absorb aid, with each meal, it's an enzyme, and some Acai super cleanse. and i just finally got some good results from them a few minutes ago. I'll have to try the probiotics too, and I heard the magnesium is good too, but haven't tried them. what day of P3 are you on?
I am day 3, so I think we are in the same situation, lol! that is great for me! and it's good to know by day 5 things settled down for you! if you don't mind, what do you mean by too much? for me, I had eggs, a llttle cheese, cream all on the same day, but day 2 I was down a pound! so I thought I could eat, and day 2 I had a lot of fats, butter along with two eggs and a mug cake, and I gained the pound back this morning. and my stomach feels chubby.
