I truely beleive in my heart of hearts that during our TOM our hormones get the best of us and it makes the challenges of being good while on this diet harder, sounds pretty good to me so im sticking to my belief ... my weakness belive it or not was chilli and crackers ... eeeeeek....
I really do too! The first round, my TOM had passed before I started and I did great and lost 20 pounds (and kept it off). This time... not good at all. I've loaded ALL week! I feel awful.
Well all we can do is get back on track and keep chuggin along with the rest...I had a hard time last night not only with TOM but my dry cotton mouth, my sugar level dropped couldnt eat cuz of the cotton mouth of course this was way after I cheated with the chilli and crakcers...today im jumpin back into the game hopefully the damage is going to be so badly that this entire round is blown to peices...i am actually considering ending this round sooner then i had planned but we will see...TOM is kicking my butt this time
Hi Deanna, I Absolutely 100% agree on the hormones. I started my round right after my Tom. I have done great, struggled when I started during my round, made it through, then started AGAIN during my round. I'm sorry two periods back to back has horns coming out of my head. Eeek. You don't even want to know what I ate. It wasn't chili and crackers, :( Now I'm up a bit and have to get it back off.
i tell you this is the hardest part of this diet is having to deal with TOM...I was doing great even made it through the 4th of july without caving and no sooner did TOM show up 28 days into round 2 (i also had TOM at the beginning but wasnt so bad) I just had a major craving for chilli and crackers and im not even big chilli eater go figure!
I'm supposedly supposed to start later this week, but I have no cravings whatsoever. I thought TOM would be sooo hard because I am also a carbs craver but I am fine. (Makes me wonder if I'm gonna skip my TOM, but that's another story.) My worst cravings were actually about 2 weeks or so into P2. Those were terrible! I might have killed someone for a baked potato! I started taking a Candida Cleanse supplement and Acidophilus and it seems to have helped. Of course, cravings could flip on like a switch any day now, but I'm pretty good now knowing that I need to stick with this diet and I'm almost there. Good luck girls! We'll get there.
