    Hi to All!!

    I just purchased the hCG injections and kit!! I'm really excited to start this journey; however, I'm totally confused. First of all, how much should I be injecting? What are all of the Phases I keep hearing about? When do I start the injections? What do I eat when I start the injections? When do I stop them? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Even if you could point me to a website I can follow, that would be great also.

    Phase 2 aka P2 = loading days and VLCD (very low calorie diet), eating 500 calories per day and taking injections
    Phase 3 aka P3 = stabilization and eating no sugars and starches
    Phase 4 aka P4 = maintenance and adding back in sugars and starches

    Read Pounds and Inches, it will answer your questions. There is a link to it on the left of this page, at the bottom.
    Simeon doesn't mention phases, but it's a lingo adopted by most hcg'ers from Trudeau's version of the protocol that makes it easier to communicate about what stage you are in. P1 is a "cleansing" phase, but most people skip that as Simeon's original protocol doesn't call for it, it's a Trudeau thing. P2 is when you are taking the hcg..first you "load" or eat anything you want heartily for 2-3 days, then you start the 500 calorie diet with the specified foods in P&I. P3 is the no-sugar, no-starch phase when you've stopped taking hcg, and P4 is...the rest of your life!

    Certainly read P & I...

    You can start the injections when ever you want... just make sure that your calendar is clear from travel or such for a couple of weeks until you get the swing of things. The amount you should start with depends on the type of injections you're doing. Subq (just under the skin) a good starting point is 175iu's. For IM (muscle injections) a good starting point is 125 to 150iu's. Now, that's the amount of HCG not the volume of the injection. That depends on how you mix your Hcg when you get it. There are lots and lots of mixing instructions on the site...just do a search at the top of the page. When you "load"...be sure to load with lots of fats - nuts, cheese, cream, avocados, etc.

    As for the number of injections... you need to do at least 23 days but no more than 40 days. After the 23rd day you can then stop at any point and do the 3 VLCD after your last injection then move into P3 (no sugar/starch phase)

    I assume you're doing insulin needles injections? The standard starting dose is 175. But read all the newcomer threads and really understand what you're doing first.

    Grammy is so right about reading the threads. I am a newbie and was so lucky my mom stumbled onto this sight. I am now addicted and read all the back posts. You become an encyclopedia of HCG info and have a wonderful network of experts to help. I am doing the drops but excited to hear about your results with the shots as a newbie. Good Luck!
