    Hey there,
looking for other women who are blessed with height. I often have a hard time gauging my weight loss because I am tall and carry weight very well. I'm 5'11 and have been over 200 lbs since I was 19 or 20. 200 lbs for me equals a size 12/13, which I feel at least comfortable in my own skin. Now, I'm at my heaviest (229...eek! But that is with the 3 loading days, I'm usually around 225 ... still EEK!) and eager to get down to a size 9/10, which If I can recall correctly (it's been so long!) is about 185 lbs for me. I enjoy having boobs and a butt so I'm ok with a little meat on my bones. 175 would be my max and then at least I could fluctuate 10 lbs or so.

As of tomorrow AM I will be on R1P2D1. Any other "Amazon" women doing the HCG diet? It would be great to get a support group together.

Hey CreoleQueen, I'm in the same boat, although you have a few inches on me! I'm 5'9 1/2, on Load Day #2, start VLCD tomorrow. When I hit 170, I knew it was time to start this diet after lurking in the forum and researching for about a month. When I was in high school and everyone else weighed 115 and wore size 5, I weighed 145 and wore size 11. I also wear size 11 shoes and my shoulders are more broad than most of the guys I know!

I'm eager to get down to 150-155. I can gain 20 lbs (which I am 20 over my goal weight) and still wear the same clothes - they are just tight, so unfortunately I won't go down many sizes - same as you. But we were blessed with height!

Also, if I hear one more person tell me I am "too skinny" to be doing this, I will scream. I like to tell people how much I weigh and watch their eyes get huge and suck all the air out of the room...that shuts them up!

    AMAZONS UNITE :)

I'm also 5'11. I've lost over 30 lbs after my second baby with weight watchers but can't seem to budge from here. I weigh 185 now which is kind of in between a 12/14 for me. I actually tried on some size 13 jeans the other day and they fit - first time in ages. Anyway, my husband and I are going to start the diet in a couple of days. I'm very excited to get started. I also have a hard time gauging what weight I want to be at. I'm thinking for me, probably 165-ish? I also carry my weight well but since losing I have a lot of sagging I'm hoping will get better once I lose the rest of the fat and build muscle. We'll see. I'd love to have a support group.

I'm 5'9" and topped the sale at 201 and squeezing into a size 16. I never had a weight issue unitl I had kids and a desk job. I was 123lbs before kids and doctors where trying to get me to gain weight...didn't matter what I hate, I burned it so fast. My first pregnancy trigger hypothyroidism and it went down hill from there. I have been on the yo-yo diets and over the years have caused me to gain even more weight.

My goal is to be 145lb and toned... I'm slowly on my way. I have finally reached 175 and bought my first size of 14...wooo hooo very exciting day for me. I have also gone down 1 cup size.

I also get the "I would have never guessed you weighed that much"....thank goodness I do have the height to carry my weight well or OMG I would look like an elephant.

Hey! Another Amazon here....5'11" and currently 201 pounds. I have gone thru 3 rounds so far only 2 were effective (didn't follow p3 carefully on 1st round). My starting weight was 245 (ugh). I had been thin half of my adult life but 2 babies and hormonal issues had caused quite a weight gain for me. I usually weighed about 150 to160 and wore a size 8 or 10. Now at 200 pounds I'm really surprised to find I am in a size 12 (snug though).
Summer, I had to laugh at your comment about telling your weight and it sucking the air out of the room!!! :oD I told a new friend of mine (who is on the petite side)how much I weigh and the look on her face was hysterical! I just told her that I had a lot more acreage to hide it. ;o)
It really stinks that we have to lose a lot more to actually SEE a difference....but I sure feel lighter on my feet with 44 pounds gone. I lifted 45 pounds yesterday and
it was HEAVY!!! I can't believe that I was lugging all of that around....no wonder I was always pooped!
I am going to probably end up doing 2or3 more rounds to get to my goal of 160. My next round is going to be around the 1st of Aug.. I never thought I would look forward to dieting but I am so addicted to seeing the scale move down for the first time in many years.
So glad to know there are other Amazons out there! Good luck!

Haha! It's totally 100% worth it. I would gladly live the rest of my life as big as a barn just to have my kids....thank goodness NOW we don't have to. Love hcg!

Anonymous - I bet you have tons of cute shoes since you wear 7 1/2. I couldn't be obsessed with shoes even if I wanted to be at size 11! There aren't any cute ones! I, too, love Express Editor pants in tall!

By the way, it is 10 AM and I've already had 59 grams of fat. Ugh. I feel awful. I'm actually looking forward to VLCD tomorrow. I typically eat pretty healthy, but drink WAY too much beer, which is what got me to 20 lbs over where I should be. So after yesterday, I'm quitting the beer cold turkey. Not going to lie...I'm going to miss it.

@summer Yes thank GOD for Editor pants:) I do have tons of shoes - well past the 250 mark but always wear (and love) my FIT FLOPS! I cant stand shoes! And I rock the 5 inch heels too when I can.

As for beer - I dont drink tons of it BUT when I do I limit myself to one or two and always get light - they have 64 calorie Miller now and some other one that is 50 calories. THERE ARE OPTIONS just not til P3/4!!!
