Yesterday I skipped my hcg shot and had a b-12 one instead. Otherwise I was on protocol, drank lots of water etc. No tom to worry about (big H). Today,vlcd8 I gained .9 (alright, almost a pound!) Losses are still 12 pounds, but sure hate to see the scale edge upwards...If swapping hcg for b-12 causes this, then I'll skip the b-12 and skipping shots (I was skipping to extend the length of the round anyway) and just do 40 straight shot days. Anyone else have b-12 or skipping shots affect them this way?
A couple of chicken/celery/apple salads and the scrambler "omelets". I used to be a vegetarian and the meat was getting to me. This weekend was the first time I actually ate both my fruits (tomato in the omelets and apple in the salad). I skip the melba and milk and used only 1/2 a lemons worth of juice.
I didn't realize skipping even caused stalls - I was just hoping to extend the losing period. I haven't noticed anyone talking about immunity issues at least with first rounds, so maybe skipping days aren't really needed for the first round? The B-12 shot (I got it from Fran) was twice the fluid amount of the hcg shots - do you think there is anything off protocol in it?
No, I was just having a hard time with so much meat. We are going on vacation for two weeks in the Outer Banks starting this weekend and I was saving having fish until we were there. I have had shrimp several times (I remove the G.I. tract as well as the vein), bison and chicken. The scramblers seemed harmless enough...
