Today is starting the week my boyfriend (and hcg partner) were anticipating.. his birthday today and mine Friday with little dinners with family/friends sprinkled here and there. We have decided that these days only come once a year and to enjoy them responsibly so we are going to eat on protocol as close as possible with the exception of a fav birthday dessert and a few beverages ;) I know this could potentially cost us a week so I would like to extend our 23 day round another week or so. We are both losing well and closer to our goal, so does anyone have any experience with taking a few days off and getting back on the wagon?

Should we still take the hcg on days we cheat? Its in our system since we have been taking it for 16 days now. So, could we skip the days we cheat and then extend our program longer? Any input or experience appreciated!!! I know cheating is not the best idea, but we are not going to go wild with it!!

    Thanks :)

It's too soon to take a legal break. That's best to take after 23 days. So I would stay on the protocol, do the best you can, then take your beating after. I have had a birthday and an anniversary while on hcg and I just remembered those days would come again. I can have a good time without having to break my diet. You can too if you want! It's all in what is important to you.

Thanks Grammie! Well, we did go a little overboard last night at his birthday dinner and def paid for it... not just in a couple lb increase but in an awful tummy ache! We had a really nice time, but lesson learned. We are doing a couple days of skipping fruit and upping our protein. Now on my birthday this Friday we are going to be much more careful!
