Does anyone know WHY if you have ovarian cysts you SHOULD NOT take Hcg? I saw this on a website however there was no explanation as to why you shouldn't do it.

in the Frequently Asked Questions part....

    Who shouldn’t take hCG?
    Anyone with Heart Disease.
    Women with an ovarian cyst.
    Those with Diabetes Type 1.
Men with Testicular or Prostate Cancer.
Women should not take hCG during the first two heavy days of their period.
hCG can aggrivate gout, be sure to take a vitamin pill along with Potassium Gluconate.
If you have gall bladder issues hCG can aggravate it because of the small fat intake.

In over 60 years of testing and using hCG, there is not a single valid report that claims hCG is harmful or has ever caused death. Even those that make such claims on the Internet NEVER site a specific case. Over 1,000,000 used hCG for weight loss last year with no serious side effects.

Pregnancy is one of the 'treatments" for endometriosis.....I wonder if it is the hCG that we carry when we are pregnant.

I had a partial ovarectomy many years ago. I have cysts on both sides...........haven't had any problems that I'm aware of and believe me you KNOW when you have cysts that are growing on the ovaries.......they hurt!

    I AM WORTH IT!

Oh my! That really makes me nervous reading that. Especially the recommendation that you take extra potassium.

REALLY?!?! Interesting; I was told by my Dr. that I have a cyst but I've never felt any pain of any kind. Sometimes I wonder if they know what the heck they are doing.

I wonder if the HCG can cause the cyst to rupture? I've had a couple ruptured ovarian cysts in the past few years...they are very painful but usually nothing serious...just causes some discomfort for a couple days. If high doses of HCG can make you ovulate...perhaps low doses can cause cysts to rupture? Just a theory...
