Since it is the beginning of week 3 of my P3, I am brave enough to make my first batch of chocolate delight. I plan to include one dropper full of my french vanilla stevia but how much xylitol should I add? I do not have any powder stevia but I do have the liquid plain stevia.

Any experience using liquid stevia or xylitol in your cocoa crack? Need specific amounts.

    Thanks,
    Mary

    I use this recipe:

    3T cocoa
    1 1/2 T xylitol
    3T coconut oil

I also add pecans or coconut. :-)

I only use 15 drops of the vanilla stevia or the english toffee stevia. I don't personally like the texture if I use xylitol.

I can't stand stevia so I've never tried it in the recipe.

Thanks! I'm about ready to try it now. So if my coconut is all ready melted, I just mix it all together and freeze it on a plate?

OK Colleen, made your recipe. Do I pour it out on a paper plate and freeze it? How much of this per serving is safe? It didn't make much and I am sure I could eat the whole thing. I used a tsp of MCT this am to cook my eggs so don't want to over do it.

I pour it on waxed paper and freeze it. It's very rich and the coconut oil just fills you up in an amazing way. I usually can't eat it all at one sitting though it looks like you should be able to!

I already posted it on this topic if you read up. I buy xylitol at a health food store. I love it!

Just ate about half of that serving. I little bitter but for the most part was very good! Definitely a nice sub for chocolate candy. I am satisfied with the portion I ate. You are right, the oil is rich and filling. My son tried a tiny bit and almost gagged. It's funny what we think is decadent most would spit out.

We shall see if it affects my weight tomorrow. Hmmmm, I hope someday I won't worry as much about it.

Thanks Colleen! Can't wait to try it with some almonds. I love cashews too.
