    Go ahead and brag (if you can)! I want to be inspired! When I read about cheats, I tend to want what they had. When someone is doing better than me, I feel motivated and competitive. I think no-cheat-success-stories would kick the rest of us in the butt (in a good way)! I can't include one of my own :{

    Well I don't know about bragging- but I made it thru 43 days with out cheating. I lost 35.6 lbs during that time. I am done with week 1 of P3 and have maintained my weight 1.6 lbs under my LIW. I found that the whole thing was pretty easy- once I got over the mental aspect of it all. I lost 30" all over my body, and feel great! This diet has been a Godsend for me...

    That's great, kids!

    Need more "no cheating" success stories! Because every night when I get home from work, I want to cheat so bad, but its usually not due to hunger.

    NuttyBlonde- the mental part is most def. the hardest part. I just looked at it as "I can do anything for 40 days!" and made a mental pact with my self to stay strong! I am worth all the effort I am putting into myself. I just made up my mind to do it. Enough said. That is NOT to say that there were times that I thought that the food my family was eating smelled divine... but I knew that no matter how good I thought it tasted- it was not worth wasting a week of the expensive HCG I was taking. Does that make sense? I wanted to maximize the amount of weight I lost and since money is always tight around here and I never spend any on myself... I did not want to waste money by not loosing as much as I possibly could due to cheating. I would have been so mad at myself... and well you get the point.
    You have to find what motivates you and what works for you. You need to believe in your self to stay strong, and know that YOU are worth all the effort and work to make you a better you.
    I hope this helps you to stay strong! It is just not worth it to cheat!
    Have a strong day!

    Well... today is day 36 and I have not cheated one single time. I'm actually pretty amazed because I haven't had the greatest losses and I've been really discouraged but I'm determined to hang in there for the full 40 days. As of today, I am down 18.5 lbs. I sure hope round 2 is a little more cooperative with my body. I have typically been stalling for 3-4 days and then I'll have a loss of a pound or 2 and then stall again for 3-4 more days again. I almost gave in last week after a 5 day stall but then I had a 1.5 loss and I decided to hang in there for the long haul. After the first week, i really wasn't hungry and I was pretty focused on the diet. I went out of town twice and to a family party and took my food with me and didn't have a hard time.

    Bragging is not what I'd call it. Determined would be the perspective I took. I too made it all 43 days without one cheat. I lost 27.8lbs during my time. I would have hit that in more like 30 days but I had a biopsy and they put saline solution in my body and I gained 6lbs and it took almost two weeks for me to lose it. Anyway, no cheats. I wasn't hungry and I feel great! I'm now on week 3 of P3 and have never been more than a pound up from my P2 ending weight. The majority of my weigh-ins are within .2lbs of ending weight. The times I did think of cheating I remembered this verse from (1 Cor 6:19-20) says "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, who you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body." The only one who knows you are "cheating" is God (& you). You deserve to feel awesome and look amazing! Our Heavenly Father is the only one who can get you to your goal. I prayed continuously & still do. Remember (Philippians 4:13) "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

    Why not bragging? I mean we are all tempted, no matter what motivates us. Being strong and sticking to protocol is wonderful! Good job!

    Daycare Lady.... Cheating was never an option for me. I've completed 2 rounds and just started my third! Round 1 I lost 35 pounds in 40 days and then lost 5 during P3 (history set point my body was getting back to.) Round 2 I lost 18 pounds in 23 days and stabilized at my LIW. So far this round I've lost 2.5 pounds - LVCD2

    I'm not sure why, or how, I have the will power to stay true to this diet but I'm thankful I can! Maybe my story is/was a little different than others because I also have some health issues unrelated to my weight. I had to get approval from multiple doctors before even beginning - I was determined to make this work! Now keep in mind that not one doctor ever said anything to me about needing to lose weight - not one! I'm 5'10" and weighed 253 when I started. Clearly I was over-weight so I'm not sure why the doctor's never said anything. Maybe they felt partially responsible for keeping me on prednisone for so long??? haha. Anyway, I wanted my life back - I wanted to feel good again and I wanted to look healthy! Having autoimmune disease is tough in the fact that you don't always look sick - maybe I was trying to look sick so people would understand? Who knows! Instead, I decided that I'm worth fighting for! I have a disease but I am not a diseased person! A dear girlfriend told me about Hcg in January (she was doing the diet) and the rest in history - and so is 60.5 pounds!

    Great news! Thanks for sharing your story. I am R1P4D4 and have had two cheats. This from a competitive, straight A student type! I may have to do a round two just so I can say next time, "I DID NOT CHEAT!" Must just be a pride thing with me, that and the fact that I keep thinking I may have lost another pound or two (I am 5-8 lbs or so away from goal). Seems that when I was feeling weak and reading about cheats throughout the forum, that I figured that several people survive a cheat, I can too! The guilt and yucky stomach were not worth it!
