Grammy -- thanks for the guideline for P4! Question though -- when you say carbs, are you just meaning the starches you mention, or does this include sugars too? And if not, how do you suggest we work the sugars back into our diet in P4?
My coconut oil is a soft solid. If yours is oil, that's fine but it may not work right in the cocoa crack. Not sure if it will go solid in the freezer. Just try it and see.
Lori, I don't eat much sugar. I haven't had white sugar in the house in fifteen years. I do add back in agave nectar and honey though. But I make sure I don't go nuts on sugar carbs OR starch carbs several days in a row. If I have a lot in one day, I drop back the next day.
Coconut oil becomes solid at around 78 degrees I believe. My kitchen doesn't have heat or air conditioning, in the winter my coconut oil is solid all winter long, in the summer it is totally liquid all summer long. My kitchen stays about 90 degrees or more during the summer. My cocoa crack has turned out fine, you just have to eat it in a hurry in a hot house, or lick your fingers.
