    Hello all,

I am looking for a miracle and hoping you ladies can help!

I am going on an extended trip for 7 days and where I am going there is extreme heat and not a restraunt in site that can provide food without all sorts of grease and fat all over it.

I will be taking a cooler with the veggies and HCG I need but I will not have access to a fridge or a stove. Maybe a microwave but that is pushing it.

With all of that said, I am on phase 2 and am no where close to a point where I can just take a mini break from my HCG.

Does anyone have any ideas for proteins that can either be made and live in a cooler with very little chance of killing me with e-coli or possible just live at room temperature with no problems?

water-packed tuna -- You may have to look for one of the better brands so that it doesn't have a bunch of extra stuff in it.

Oh, I forgot. They make canned chicken breast, too. I haven't looked at it, but it might be worth investigating.

What about boiled eggs and eating just the whites of some of them? Cottage cheese for first couple of days? Can you buy ice and keep your cooler really cold? That would help out. We went camping twice during my P2, never longer than 4 days, but I know what you are dealing with. If you can keep hamburger, cut up chicken, and fish cold you are set. If not, you would be better off eating the same proteins out of a can for the full week. Some fruits and veggies get mushy too, so don't cut them up too early. Good luck!

Jay Robb shakes with water work too, not on protocol but they definitely help in a bind like this.

Thank you so much! =) I appreciate the ideas...100grams works out to 3.5 ounces.

    I found this:
    http://www.amazon.com/Swanson-Premium-Chicken-3-Ounce-3-Count/dp/B000FKAPS2

If you scroll down a bit it shows the nutrition info by clicking on a link....it looks good minus the 400g of sodium.

I haven't been on the diet long enough to know if there is anything in there that is a no no.

Less than 2% of modified food starch? that doesn't sound good.
