Angela -- I was reading a thread where you talk about doing a second skip day each week. Is this to extend your round and still have only 40 injections? How have your losses been so far? I haven't been keeping up very well on the boards and have missed your stats!

Jenni -- I know you did a super-long first round, how many injections did you do and how many days was it? I seem to remember 64 days? How is your second round going?

I'm in my second round with 9 days left of injections. I cheated horribly the first 3 weeks, finally have my head on straight and have started to lose. Considering extending my round to make up for the first 3 weeks. I have plenty of HCG because I bought enough for 2 rounds plus.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Becky, I can't take credit for that suggestion. Someone else reasoned that, if the hCG stays in your system for 3 days, what harm is there in an extra skip day, mid-week? I'm going to try it, starting tomorrow, but if I get the least bit of squirrelly results, I'll immediately go back to just one skip day. Yes, extending the round is the goal there, but it won't do any good, if it has an adverse result. I'm just experimenting, right now.

As far as my stats...so far, so good! Better than I even expected! VLCD 23 now, & I am at 22.8 lbs lost, so far, so just under a pound a day. I keep expecting to hit a wall, but thank God, it hasn't happened yet. I have a lot to lose, though (around 90 total). They say you tend to stall at a weight you were at for a long time, in the past, and if that is true, I shouldn't hit a major stall until I get somewhere between 190-199. Maybe I'll be lucky & not hit one at all!

My primary motivation in making this decision is that I won't be doing another round until after the first of the new year, so I'll have plenty of time to stabilize, after this round, I won't run into p3 issues, during thanksgiving, and my immediate goal is to see "Onederland" (under 200 lbs) before I end this round. I am now 13.8 lbs away, so I'm certain I'll see it, before the end of this round, but if I can get a little "buffer", by getting far enough below to stay under 200, when I start my next round, I'll be that much further ahead.

Thanks, Angela! You are doing amazing!!!! I will look more into the extra skip day.

I agree with stalling when you get to a weight you haven't been in a while. Last year I did Weight Watchers and just bounced off 168, immediatly gained back weight, got engaged, married...gained up to 196. Right now with HCG I am at 168 again. I was at 167.4 exactly for 3 days, gained .8 yesterday. My goal with extending my round a little would mostly be to bust through this weight plateau and to make up for all the early-round cheating. Now that my head is finally in the game I don't want to stop P2!

If I do extend the round, I may also wait until the new year to do my last round. The way I have it timed right now I would start a new round Sept 26, hit P3 Nov 14, so Thanksgiving would be in P3 and Christmas would be in P4.

Yeah, exactly...and as liberal as p3 is, compared to p2, who wants to be doing it over thanksgiving? My mom's dressing is not something you want to forego, if you can help it.
