    Hi,

    My name is Shani and I'm going to start taking the HCG drops from HCGBottle.com at the beginning of August. And with the amount of weight that I want to lose they suggested the 80 program. And I'm a little confused. Do I do this for 80 days straight or am I suppose to take a break and the start up again? I've gone back and read some of the old post, but they didn't make any since to me.

    -Some people took a six week break, but didn't say if they went to P3 or kept eating 500 calories a day and then started the drops again.

    -Some people took and three day break from the HCG, but continued eating 500 calories.

    -Some people continued with the HCG and loaded for two days before dropping back to 500 calories to start a new round.

    -And other said that you have to take a break because you would become immune to the drops. And then some else said that it only applied for the shots and not the drops. And then some else said that it applied to both.

    So, basically I have no idea what to do. If someone could explain it to me, or post and link to where it's clearly described I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much.

    You need to read Pounds and Inches. It's at a link on the left. Basically the protocol is 40 days on the hcg, 48 hours continuing the diet without the drops, then you go into P3 for 3 weeks and p4 for 3 weeks. Then you can do another round. the breaks are important for more than just immunity issues. Your skin needs time to catch up and your body needs the break. :-)

    When doing homeopathic drops it is really just a personal desicion on how long to continue. Homeopathic hcg or hhcg for short, does not typically cause the immunity issues that rx grade sublingual or rx shots can encounter so you can in theory continue until you lose all you want or until you decide it is time to take a break. I believe most on the hhcg still only do the 40 day round and at least the 3 weeks of P3 before continuing again, just to have a break from the strictness of the 500 calorie diet. In P3 you eat more fats and more calories to try and stabilize your weight but you aviod starchs and sugars. If you go on to P4 which is another 3 weeks unless this was your only round, you then slowly add the starchs and sugars back in and this is considered the rest of your life or you decide to do another round after 3 weeks of P4. If you do a 23 day or 40 day round and do take at least the 3 weeks of P3 in-between any other rounds then you should do the 2 load days again when starting your next round and definitely if you do both P3/P4 you will need to load again.
