    I've been cycling since January. There are a ton of ways to cycle, I do mine the way you stated. You could do 2weeks on 2 weeks off, 3weeks on and1week off. You need to listen to your body and know what you can do. Some people silly can't do the cycling because of various reasons. I know for Robbi it was hard to get back on P2 for her. Everyone is different. For me doing the 2 on 1 off works.

    I have averaged about one lb per day.

    Want to be,

    You don't do P4 when you are cycling. You would go back onto P2. Then P3 then back to P2. You continue this until you hit goal and then gently move into P4.

    Thanks for the info! I just wasn't sure if I had to do 23 days before I could start to cycle.
    The two weeks on, one week off seems like a good regiment.

    ok, jumping on this thread..hope it goes to the new forum too, as this is my first try at cycling. No, I didn't do the protocol and do P4, but knowing me and carbs, it scares me..so, here I go. I am planning to do 2 weeks of P2 and then 2 of P3..if I am losing good at the end of 2 weeks I may do another week before going into P3 again.

    I am R2 P2 VLCD4 and I kind of went off plan and ate sweets/carbs over weekend for 2 loading days, then I read on some threads just to do P3 foods, but I was really craving some sweets and got it out of my system, soooooo, my weight went up of course, which I expected. Ended R1 P3 below my LDW and I was happy w/that. VLCD1 I was up to 209.4 and now I am at 201.8. My R1 P2 start weight was 229...can't wait to hit the 30 pound mark and be below 200 again!

    I am being a bit rogue this round, as I ate veggie straws (like the chips) all throughout both rounds, just a handful here and there, and they never affected me, so I am still doing that in the mornings w/my coffee, instead of the melbas, and I have 2 T of ff milk in my coffee, and I'm mixing my veggies to see which ones I can tolerate. Yesterday I ate hamburger meat cooked in onions on a bed of lettuce and salsa on top and still lost overnight..and I can eat deli turkey I get at our town's grocery store that has 1g of sugar in it...ate that both rounds too and it didn't affect me. That's all I got for now! Happy losing everyone!

    Glad this thread is still continuing. I have decided to cycle..started the beginning of the week. So far so go. This is my 2nd round. I stabilized P3 at LDW. The only issue I see with this round is the first 3 days I was starving...really really really hungry. Today that stopped. I will look for this thread on the other forum also. Good luck everyone and keep posting!!

    I hadn't started a new one cause I figured we'd use the group one.

    I did ask them to start a permanent thread but hadn't heard back from Jarrett.
