Greetings everyone! I purchased Miracle Noodles from a local grocer 1 week ago & have consumed 5 packs with no gains. I am on VLCD13 & AM DOWN 14 LBS:) I bought Mrs Dash to add to my noodles today & they were very spicy but had a nice flavour...One of the 4 flavours I found contained FRUCTOSE but the one I purchased does not so hoping I don't see gains from it as some have reported on this forum. Ingredients as follows:onion, garlic, black pepper, sweet chili pepper, parsley, celery seed, basil, bay, marjoram, oregano, savory, thyme, cayenne pepper, coriander, cumin, mustard, rosemary, orange peel & natural flavor. I will keep you posted if I gain tomorrow....
Jasmine, Thanks for the post. I got my noodles online. I made them with Bragg's Liquid Aminos and Bragg's Sea Kelp Delight Seasoning, then sauted them with my chicken. Wow were they good and very filling. I'm glad to hear you say that you did not gain anything with them. I'm VLCD6 and down 7 lbs. I don't want to stop the progress though!
Dilionsfan:) Congratulations to you on your wonderful losses so far:) I just wanted to let you know that I ate an entire large bag of miracle noodles yesterday, covered it with Mrs Dash Onion & Herb seasoning, some sea salt & sauteed with chicken breast....amazingly delcious:) I weighed in this morning...3 hours before my usual weigh-in time as well, & I am down 1 lb!!!! I don't think you will ruin progress with either of these products!! :)
I am still using Miracle Noodles & Mrs Dash & am still losing...I'm on VLCD27 & am down from 168lbs to 147lbs. I have encountered exactly 7 days of stalls during this time but this is after a massive 'cheat'(4 day stall) & stalled again for 3 days(figured out it was the gum I was chewing)
Sickofbingfat:) I rinse them in hot hot water for several minutes... I like to soak them overnight in chicken broth(I like the low sodium organic) The Mrs Dash can be spicy(which I like)..I also sprinke a little sea salt all over..but it depends on your preference:) I either pour out the broth or use it to cook my noodles.., then fry up the noodles in a large pan...don't worry about them sticking...they don't...they toss & fry nicely...I like to cook them until the noodles don't seem as plump...when they are a little thinner, I toss in my chicken(I have also used veal & shrimp & they all work well with these noodles)...Ofcourse, use salt & Mrs Dash to your tasting...you can even add garlic powder, etc...:)i will eat an entire large bag and have never gained:) let me know how you make out!!!
Thank you so much. I am so excited to try them this way. I had not thought of the frying pan, I guess that would help with the soggy mushy texture. I will let you know.
Ahhh...that would definitely explain you not liking them...the frying pan is an essential for the noodles:) Also, you can do fresh garlic, spinach & shrimp...yummmm:) Keep me posted!
