    I'm not sure what to do:

    Tonight I have a family b-day dinner at the chain restaurant Claim Jumper. I know we're not suppose to eat at chains but it wasn't my call. I'm on day 35P2 and close to my goal so I don't want to blow it tonight. I just checked their menu on line and thought I'd have 1/2 of the filet mignon & grilled asparagus but then I check the calorie count and it's got over 1000 calories (8oz) so even 1/2 if over 500. That's my whole days worth. Should I order it anyway? I couldn't find anything else on the menu that looked doable.

    I wonder if you could get cottage cheese and salad with no dressing and a side a lemon to squeeze on top? I know cottage cheese is not quite protocol but I would think it may be better than a steak that is marinated in who knows what? I could be wrong though.

    Hi Everyone,
    I just signed up here and could really use some help! I am getting sooo discourage and need someone to rein me back in!
    I am on my second week of P2 (day 11). Last week went fantastic... I lost 13.6lbs in the first 8 days. Then, day 9 +1.0, day 10 -0.4, day 11 +0.6. I don't know what's going on. I will try to give as much info as I can so that maybe someone can figure out what I'm doing wrong... I've read lots and you are all so helpful!
    I have been fighting a nasty head cold all week and some times haven't been able to eat the full 500 cal menu. I am taking 12 drops 3x/day. I tried the Shirataki Noodles this week. Had them at just one meal.

    It could have been the noodles that messed up your losses. I personally haven't tried them but also maybe your cold is affecting your losses. Are you drinking enough water?

    stacey, you could order a salad without dressing or croutons, just a squeeze of lemon. And add a grilled chicken breast to it. Specify what you want in the salad, because even the house salad has stuff you can't eat.

    wow, claimjumpers of all places! that has got to be the single most anti-hcg diet place on the planet! they are known for extra extra huge portions, it's places like that that have made hcg diets neccessary in our culture!! ok, now after my rant, I'll say I did go there once, and that time all I did was sip mineral water. if they do give you a P2 friendly dish, that grilled chicken and salad is going to look miniscule in comparison to other people's food. I thought I had it bad. just a warning of what you may need to be in store for. I wish you all the best. nothing there tastes as good as thin feels!

    I know taking those bites is harmful, well I only ate the eggs out of the tortilla and threw the rest away. I don't think any amount of hcg is going to fix this, I just have a very high stress job that is busy busy busy, expending lots of energy, if not physical then emotional, so this little bit of food is like a few bites. I barely had time to inhale that few bites of chicken and lettuce for lunch then I ran to an errand while munching the apple. I'll just pretend I'm not eating. I am not hungry at all, except in the morning around 9:30am, just because I have been up since 4:30 or 5am. there is mental stress too, I have a lot of projects to take care of. today at 9:30 I grabbed a few bites of a high fiber english muffin, because I couldn't continue on without something and I wasn't near my food. other than that, I haven't cheated at all today, I was around cookies and donuts, etc. but wasn't tempted. I actually did not have time to eat dinner on Monday night, and was not hungry at all, so maybe that is why I was so tempted with the burrito on Tuesday morning because my stomach was so empty. it was very little, actually. just eggs. I am thinking of trying one of those miracle omelettes in the morning to ease the tense empty feeling I have at 9:30am.
