We used to have a thread for just questions, and it is buried somewhere in forum land. I'll check this daily, and I'm sure Colleen will do that as well. If you're having a problem, please post a question on here and someone will answer it for you. And while I encourage multiple answers, and differing opinions, please try to keep this just informational so we don't end up going down too many rabbit trails. :)

bumping so I can continue to learn :]

For those who may be new and don't know it yet, if you comment on a thread, it automatically goes into the Participated Discussions link over to the left. I keep track of the discussions I am most interested in this way. Usually pull these up first to read, especially if my time is limited. :]

But all that 1/2 & 1/2 makes up for the no sugar rule!

I have a question. Why do some recipes call for stevia and some call for xylitol? I've never used xylitol and not real sure as to what it is or where to get it. Are they interchangable? Can they both be used on all phases or no?

I used heavy whipping cream today because the creamy-ness would not leave me alone. Should this be a very rare occurance in phase 3? I am scared I am not getting enough calories. And should the calories be fatty and protein or should I try really hard to keep it mostly protein?

Xylitol is a sugar alcohol of sorts (although not really classified as a sugar alcohol). It can be purchased at most health food stores - at least the ones around me. Xylitol's advantage is that it doesn't create an insulin response that sugars (and sugar alcohols) do. I love it...it's my favorite sugar sub. You can always sub xylitol for stevia.
