Hello - I would love some of your support here!
I have been on P2 for 12 days, and have only lost 6 pounds. I know that is normal - I am close to my goal weight of 118-120. (5'6") Right now I am hoving at 133-134 and can't seem to break it. Here is the deal - my hubby is doing this with me, and is having amazing results. He does have more to lose and he is a man, so I get why he looses 1-2 lbs a day. I have been SO FRUSTRATED the past few days and I find myself reaching for the candy and the office (that I have to keep stocked!)! I try to use will power, but you know the mind games that go on when you aren't losing the way you want to! I keep sugar free gum on hand and drink tons of water. Any others in the same boat? Words of encouragement? I really want this to work ASAP - my hubby will be done on day 23 no matter what - I will keep going until I hit my goal. HELP!

I was in your shoes when I started.

I had all these bigs dreams of losing all the weight I wanted gone in the first round.

Not everyone losses like crazy and sadly it is not overly common for the girls to lose 30lbs in 30 days.

Try to think more around 15lbs in 23-30 days, if you lose more than that, YAY!

    *Edit*
Not everyone is the same and the results vary a LOT. Keep your chin up and be strong and you WILL lose the lbs.

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but even sugar-free gum has a sugar substitute that isn't allowed on this protocol. Drop the gum and drop the candy. You can do this. You can do anything for 23 days! How about posting your daily menu and see if the experts on this forum can see where you might be able to tweak it to get the optimum loss possible.

Thanks for the info on the gum. *sigh* for me, that's like giving up breathing! Thanks for the positive words - it helps to know others out there have done and are making this work!
