    Hi

I have been on hhcg and on my R1P2D22 (hope I got this right). I have managed to lose about 16 pounds (7.5 kgs). I am quite happy with this, however I decided to go one more week before I start P3. I have another 11 pounds to lose for my target but I think I will do a second round for that.

I've been quite good so far…No cheating at all. I just love this diet, coz its divided in Phases, which is motivation factor enough for me to go on with it. I keep telling myself that this is only going to be for another 3 weeks, then we move on to bigger and better things...haha.. Funny how my world revolves around food ;)

Now that I am almost at the end of P2, I had a question about Phase 3…Am I allowed milk during this phase? I've seen some hcg recipe books and they have used milk in some of the recipes. It just surprised me. I would really love to include milk in my diet…its my favourite food, but I don’t want to ruin the effort of P2. So if Phase 3 is like Atkins, then definitely it should not have millk as a part of allowed foods.

I am also sceptical (and scared) coz I have been on homeopathy so just don’t know how successful people have been to maintain the weight loss. Do we need to do soemthing extra?

Though I have mostly been a lurker on this site, I really love it here! Its good fun to read all the success stories :D

    All the best to everyone

Milk is allowed, as is yogurt, cheese, and butter.

There's nothing different about hhcg, everything in P3 is the same.

Addiiee---Welcome! I would suggest you read any and all of the 'homeopathic lounge' threads. We are all hhcg users and there are plenty of stats posted there to allay any fears you have of stabilizing and being successful with homeopathic hcg. All forms of hcg work. Plus, we are a funny and supportive bunch. Always there for you when you have a question or concern. You can do a search for homeopathic lounge, and should see 3 of them. They keep getting so full that we have to start new editions. Also, maybe just do a search for homeopathic and hhcg. Loads of information and personal stories there, too. Hope to see you in the lounge! I noticed that you mentioned your weight in pounds and kgs. Where are you from? I am guessing you might be on another time zone than me, so we might 'pass in the night' most of the time. I am up at 3:45am my time, which is unusual. Had to get up for the umpteenth time to use the bathroom. Back into another round of Phase 2 and drinking all of that water! lol

I know all that water makes you pee so badly...! hehe...I make it a point to not drink too much just before sleeping!

I'm from Bombay, India...so you're right about bumping into one another at night. :D

Was just doing all the conversions since mostly everyone out here seems to be from North America :)

I did look for the homeopathy forum, and found it, but somehow could not post any questions, so had to start this new thread.

    I'm not too forum-savvy ~

Addiiee----I understand completely about the conversions, just happened to notice it. We have members from all over the world, and plenty of us miss each other and catch up throughout our daytime hours with the posts. I mentioned it so that if you do not get a response right away in the future, you will know it is likely because we are asleep! lol.

I have to tell you that I have used various homeopathic remedies for over a dozen years. When I realized that there was a weight loss solution that was homeopathic, I ordered it that same day. I have lost 29 pounds and 27.5 inches from my body, and I have a goal of losing a total of 70 pounds. I will be around for awhile, doing more rounds to complete my journey.

Let us know how you are doing as you go along. It sounds like you have had a great first round! Once more, I will invite you to join the 'homeopathic lounge' group. I think you will find some very inspiring people there. And we giggle a lot. I think I will go back to bed now, but I have enjoyed chatting with you. I hope to do so again soon! ;]

Your weight loss has been fantastic, vegglover!

I am so looking forward to next week as my Phase 3 starts then! I'm just looking up online on allowed foods and trying to create a menu for myself...extremely happy about adding in dairy :) I stalled in the last 2 days but I think its normal, its happened twice before, stall for 2 days and then see a loss of 2 pounds after that...but you know those 5 seconds before stepping on to the scale every morning are the scariest moments of my day!

Anyway, I had one more question, wondering if you can answer. Since we're not beef eaters, would it be possible to substitute beef with goat meat/ mutton? I tried to look through the forum but did not find anyone looking out for substitutes for beef :)

Addiiee---I do not think I have seen anything about goat meat mentioned, but I would guess that it is perfectly agreeable with this diet. I do know that some eat lamb, which is closer to your mutton question. Do you eat any type of bird, as in chicken, turkey, quail, etc? All poultry and fowl are allowed for P3. Eggs, cheese (not sure if you eat cheese?), yogurt, sour cream, olives, butter, oils....these are all P3 friendly. Goat cheese has been mentioned here many times. Fish and seafood are also on the diet. I think any type of meat, fowl, or seafood would be allowed for P3. The only 2 main restrictions for P3 are sugar and starches. No grains of any kind, no matter how healthy they are, and no added sugar, honey, etc.

Before beginning this diet, were you mainly vegetarian, or do you usually eat a lot of protein? If so, what types of protein do you use? I was a vegetarian for a long time, but while I have been doing this diet I have learned that my body really likes meat. lol. I feel so much better by adding this protein to my vegetables. The grains were upsetting my stomach a lot, no matter how healthy they are for people in general. Sad for me, as I have always relied on grains to be my main food source along with the veggies. I do feel much better now though.

I am sure you have already done so, but I would refer back to the original protocol to look for ideas and substitutions. If you need a copy of it, look to the left column on this page, and click on Dr Simeons Pounds and Inches. Feel free to ask about any other ideas that you have. We all learn from these conversations. It is such a gift to come up with something new to add to our diets while reading about others' experiences. ;]

One other suggestion I would have for you is to begin reading the thread labeled 'Phase 3...Come on Over'. This is a group of people who are all doing P3 protocol right now. I just began another round of P2, but I still go there to read, because I am always looking for new ideas for my next P3 round.

I do not know how much help I have been on this. Sorry for the long post! I do not know when to stop babbling on! lol. Good luck with your P3 adventures. I am sure you will love it! ;]

Addiiee---I just saw your post about having trouble posting in the homeopathic lounge. There are 3 of them now, as they keep getting full and loading slow, so people have begun new versions of the same conversation. I do not know if you had problems because one of them might have been closed? It is odd, because you would "talk" there the same way you do here, in the 'enter your comments' section. Hmm. Maybe try again?

Either way, it is fine to post here. I love that you have found our forum. I hope you can enjoy it as much as I do. I come in everyday to check in and see how people are doing, what they are doing, and try to figure out how to improve my own plan. It is a great group of people, and generally a very positive place to visit.

    Have a good day.
