    am "planning" a trip to scottsdale to see frank lloyd wright's taliesin west. going west from alabama and wondering when is a good time for traveling in that climate.

    Not right now!
    Late October to March is the best time.

    Taliesin is cool. The first time I went there was in 1979, I believe.
    Here's something you might like. It's an article about the house FLW built for his son, in Phoenix. His son and daughter-in-law lived there until a few years ago, when they passed away. The grandkids have stories to tell about them all.

    October is my very favorite month in AZ. The sunsets are to die for! I so love AZ! We go out at least 3 times a year. Our daughter lives there and both of my brothers as well as assorted cousins and aunts and uncles.

    My sister is flying out in October, and we're going to the White Stallion Ranch in Tucson, to ride horses, etc. I've never been to the ranch before, but it sounds like a great place. Can't wait.
