I lost my weight on one round of HCG and am happy and clearly understand the dynamics, etc and what I can/can't eat and love all the fun recipes - my question and concern is the fat content in some of the meals and recipes?
What is the status with this? What are others doing? TIA
In P3, you don't have to worry about fat content. When you're not eating starch and sugar, fat won't make you gain. In fact, most people eat fatty foods to try to get their calories up so they won't lose weight in P3.
We have all been brainwashed over the last 40 years that fat will make us fat. Despite all of the low-fat foods, we are more overweight and obese than we've ever been. A lot of us believe that it is carbs that are the cause, not fat. Carbs are the last thing Dr. Simeons has us add back into our diet.
It's in P4, when you're eating starch and sugar again, that you may have to cut back on fats.
