This is my second 10 week round and it seems that I never stop counting the days to the end lol. It always happens on weekends I do find my self saying " Can i really do this for 7 weeks?" I think of the weeks as months. I am P2LCD6 am down 6lbs.

I know its a mind thing but I don't think I will do the 10 week for round 3. How do you guys feel and do you get the same thoughts?

Thanks for reading my post. I need support for sure:)

    Michelle,
How much did you lose your first 10 weeks?
    That's a long time!

Hi Michelle, I am still on R1 VLCD22 and I have days like that too. I only had about 15 lbs. to lose, and have currently lost 10 lbs. I'm actually worried about getting to the end of P2 in the next couple of days because my food choices have been so limited it seems easier. I cheated twice during this month and it basically cost me 6 days of weight loss. Not good. I am hoping to stabilize CLOSE to my goal weight and exercise myself the rest of the way.
I have found that if I tell myself I'm going to cheat....I cheat. If I tell myself I can do it! I CAN! I guess I'm a big believer in positive thinking and know that my words have power.
I think everyone has moments like you, so just shake them off.........because you CAN and WILL complete this program!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't look ahead, live in the moment!
    That's my 2 cents anyway. :-D

By 10 weeks, do you mean phases 2 and 3 combined?

I'm having such a hard day. I've cheated with extra grissini, some prepared chicken from the Whole Foods deli (grilled chicken prepared with wine and olive oil), and a chocolate chip cookie. Plus some extra ground beef this morning before my regular lunch. I'm craving snack foods so bad. Very down.

I log on to this forum all the time when I've had a rough day or I want to celebrate a loss. I feel like you guys really understand what I am going through--more than my friends or family.

Michelle-are you on VLCD for 10 weeks?? That seems like such a long time. I would not be able to last. Would it work for you to do 5 or 6 weeks and then take a short break? Maybe that will help you get through this. But, to answer your question, even on short rounds I have days and moments where I don't think I can do this. I really do try and take this one day at a time. And, the difficult times do pass.

Ellebabe My first 10 weeks I Post LD 246 vlcd1 251 and I started this round @215 so I had a loss of 31lbs and kept it off. Very good advice dilionsfan. lauras that is exactly how I feel. The kids ordered and had their choice of food and it was so hard to just have my meal.

Lauras - wish we could meet up at Starbucks and compare notes over coffee!! ;)

My husband's doing the diet too and he's really been having a hard time today staying on protocol. Of course, he's lost 10lbs, so I guess he can afford to stall a day or 2 - if that even happens for him!

Today is day 6 of VLCD for us, by the way.

crissybeez coffee would be nice. i dragged a friend out shopping last night cause i figured that would be safe (no food). but she hadnt eaten dinner so i sat in a subway and watched her eat a sub! But even that was easier than today has been.

I am glad my boyfriend isnt on the diet also, i think i would have a really hard time watching him lose faster than me.
