    I have been real good about sticking to protocol. I won't cheat at all all day and after my dinner I CRAVE chocolate so I have one oreo. How much damage does this do? I am on P2VLCD8 and down 8 lbs.

    when I craved chocolate during p2, I had some herbal tea, like detox tea or peppermint with some chocolate flavored stevia drops. or even some chocolate flavored 0 calorie herbal tea! could you try that?

    This protocol is unforgiving, that sugar and fat will mess with your hypothalumus even if you are now losing a lb. a day. it's gonna catch up, just the facts, ma'am! because the bigger losses tend to be in the first week anyway. when we cheat on this protocol we are cheating ourselves.

    I just cheated and ate a bag of popcorn....this is my weakness I'm a popcorn lover and I would eat it every day....Is this really bad and will it cause me to stall....?

    It might, most likely, but it's done now, so just put it behind you and realize that it may stall you a few days, that's all, what day are you for P2 vlcd?

    I have pretty much given up anything "puffed". even in P4 maintainance. too starchy, and causes cravings.

    oh, you are well into your round. don't let it get you all vulnerable. make sure you are drinking enough water to flush it and the salt out, and some people have a glass of water with a couple of tablespoons of bragg's acv in it, and/or some smoothmove tea. when I accidently had a little sugar in my first week of vlcd, I took a detox bath that was suggested to me, and it worked! but don't get all stressed over it, and don't cheat anymore, because you will just start a vicious cycle, and stress makes you retain weight. stay calm, use the "Aikido method of stall resistance".

    re: the oreo's- i'd have cocoa crack before i'd eat those (on P2). some people can get away with the crack. but oreo's are full of sugar and bad fat- you might get away with it during week one, because your losses are big that week. but down the line it will probably stall you.

    re: the popcorn- i've actually seen modifications where they allow one bag of redenbacher's "smart pop"- so you might get away with it at times, but it depends on the person.

    I just did a clean up with the popcorn...My sister just came over and I gave her all the foods I cannot eat that I had before I started...I will do the water and acv in a few.... and the Aikido....Thanks again...
