If you follow and know about eating foods based on your blood type, maybe you can share your experience here.
I am wondering if anybody tried to eat based of their blood type in P2 and follow the protocol. For example - my blood is type B, chicken is to be avoided as well as tomatoes, radishes. Up until now chicken breast was my main source of protein. Radishes, tomatoes and cucumbers - main veggies.
I am averaging 0.5 a day loss, which is great, but would like to see if I can improve the results a little bit.

I trust the Blood type diet and so use it as a base to spring off for anything i do.

Totally works for me. So i did chicken but had a super case of the hungries for days after cant say that it was the exact reason but I am a O type and that means red meat. I now know that beef is whats for dinner where i am concerned.

I also stay away from cinnamon and use allspice instead

Additionally the only real stall i had was when i ate cabbage. again against my blood type so i wont eat it at all now

Thank you quelsen for sharing your experience.
Blood type diet is very new for me, but it makes a lot of sense. It could also help me to avoid some weight gains later on in phase 4. My past experience with diets was - I would follow one completely and not lose any weight, or just trying to maintain one by staying within my calories and work outs - the result is pretty much always a gain.

I am suppose to avoid Red meat and I only had it twice in 45 day round and lost 30 lbs. I am A-

I tried it. Chicken is a no no for me, blood type B. So this last round I picked a week when I normally have NEVER stalled. I switched out the chicken for 99% fat free turkey breast. I stalled out the whole week so it simply didn't work for me.

Grammy, it's good to know about turkey .. but for type B I believe it's good occasionally - right? What about tomatoes for you? They should be avoided. I've had them with my dinner pretty much every day during my first round and this second round every other evening, hard to tell if they slowed me down or not.

Today is my VLCD20 and I am down 1lb since yesterday. It's very unusual weight loss for me so far into the P2. Looking at my first round, I had good loses first few days, but averaged 0.38lb/day during 40 day period. This time it's 0.58lb/day .

No it's recommended as one of the main good meats to eat, not just occasionally. I didn't eat tomatoes much on my round at all.

keep in mind, the whole concept of the blood type diet is a THEORY. It hasn't been scientifically proven. So it may or may not be a valid approach...as Grammy experienced. There are so many different theories about dieting someone or another swears by as weight-loss nirvana, from raw foods to food combining to all-meat (zero carbs) to no-meat (vegetarian) ....if it works for you, great. But I wouldn't bet my scale on it.
