Good morning everybody! I was just tracking my results this morning and came to a stunning realization.

I did a 90 day round of P90x a couple of months prior to discovering hcg. I was able to take off 15 lbs during those 90 days.

For those of you not familiar with what P90x consists of it is an intense home workout program consisting of weight exercises utilizing hand weights, a chinup bar, and your own body weight done at a (somewhat slow imo) cardio pace. In addition to this there are intense sessions of abs, plyometrics, cardio, kenpo and yoga. During P90x I did what is called "doubles" and my workouts consisted of a morning weight workout and and evening cardio workout. I also followed a precise nutritional program. P90x is not for everybody and it is suggested that you pass a certain fit test before starting.

I have a past history of 5-6 day a week workout sessions including an hour of free weights and machine assisted exercises in addition to 45-60 minute cardio sessions and specific dietary programs. Despite all of this my body was pretty nonresponsive and probably very accustomed to what I was doing. I must say I was impressed with what the P90x program helped me accomplish. With P90x I feel like I had less muscle growth and more toning than when I was doing my free weight program. (I have shorter length muscles and they can and do appear bulky especially with a layer of fat over them!) After about a month of P90x being completed I put 5lbs back on but still had great muscle tone. Then I found hcg.

Today I am at the 45 day mark of doing the hcg diet. I am doing an extended round. My weight has gone from 140.4 to 125.4 as of today. Not dramatic compared to some of you but I'm happy. I've lost .33 lbs per day for a total loss of 15 lbs so far.

Comparitively, since I am at day 45 and P90x was for 90 days, I have lost TWICE as much weight with hcg and I haven't lifted a finger to do it.

I'm not bashing P90x or working out by any means and as soon as I reach the end of this round I'm going back to it. I am just so amazed at the results especially for sitting around all day lol when I was busting my butt doing the other lol :D

The hardest part of the Hcg Diet for me has been the discipline required to stay at 500 calories and not cheat. It is a small thing to ask for a relatively short amount of time. That certainly is alot easier than double workouts a day. I would conclude that both programs have been of great benefit and I believe in both of them wholeheartedly.

    Happy Losing!

Thanks for sharing that testimonial Dutchbaby. Very, very interesting.

Congrats to both you and daycare lady. Bet I can guess what you do all day. :)

I too was able to loose some minimal weight at about 1/3 lb day average over 21 days. Helped get that little extra off the hips and thighs that I thought I would never see go away.

    Great Job!!!

I worked out for a year with a trainer 3x a week and i barely lost anything (i dont have bad eating habbits even!) but i didnt gaiinnn anything either.. i am soo relieved when we found HCG and it started working and our trainer is working with us to the T and even doing his homework on HCG so he can optimize our workouts best!! His theory (worked for me so far.. but others might be different) is just doing reps with bars and things with VERY little weight... and using body weight as resistance (push-ups on a bar, situps with alittle incline).. and its working for me too.. i just started P3 and getting back to working out was tough business.. my Family Health and Wellness Dr. said that its ok to do the equivalance of walking 2 miles a day when working out.. (i didnt work out at all on P2 and i still lost 29 lbs on 23 shots!).. but working out makes you feel great .. like the Hcg did!...

great work! its stories like yours that keep me and i think all of us motivated!!!

    :)
