Just mixed my first batch and injected this a.m. Nervous would be an understatement! It was actually easy peasy! Hope I did it correctly! 2000ius mixed with 4 mls bac water. Drew 30ccs for 150ius. Today is first load day! Let the eating begin!
cool, are you injecting intramuscularly? I think you mean 0.3cc? Or 30 units on an insulin syringe? I mix 5000iu with 5ml of bac water, gives a nice and neat ratio of 1iu:1unit, so 150iu would be 0.15cc or 15 units.
Evo... I mixed that way on my first round but since its been discovered that there's better absorption when you mix with more bac water - so now I mix 10ml with 5000iu vials...
Hi Robbi... yeah I'm actually from a bodybuilding background and have used hcg lots (post cycle recovery) before discovering it could also be used for weight loss (I'm probably one of the only guys here who already had a fridge full of hcg before even discovering about the diet!). Anyway, from the research I had done and what articles I had come across I have always prefered subcutaneous jabs of hcg (I guess psychologically as well - hgh is also water based subcutaneous jabs!). What I have realised is that you have to inject an amount appropriate to the volume of adipose in which it is being injected whilst also compensating for the fact that it's being injected subcutaneously (less absorption over intramuscular). When I first started I was using 250iu's which was fine but as the cycle progressed I had to gradually decrease the dose to maintain the sense of euphoria. At the end of that cycle I was injecting 220iu's subcutaneously. At the end of the last cycle I have just done I finished with 190iu jabs.
The one thing with subcutaneous jabs are that they can sting quite badly, and as long as the euphoria is there I don't really worry over a few iu better absorption rates as then I'd have to be doing a 0.3 subcutaneous as apposed to a 0.15 jab with a 10ml/5000iu mixture, which could sting a hell of a lot more.
I'm injecting sq with the insulin needle. I'm not sure I could do the intra muscular but never say never, right? I heard about better absorption with more water but how much would I use for 2000ius? It seems like it would just dilute it. Also I meant 30 ius on an insulin syringe. Thanks for all the comments. I did it all fairly early this a.m. and just HAD to tell someone!!
kbriz... for 2000iu's you need to mix with 4ml of bac water... or 3ml's if your hcg is in liquid form already.
Evo... IM's are very hard to regulate for me. So much depends on how much you use that muscle on any given day. Have you had hunger at all? 250 is a high dose for injections...
No, I'm very good at working out the perfect dosage. Like I said, I'm an avid bodybuilder and was lifting weights through the whole cycle, but did knock my lifts down quite considerably (was only benching 120kg) but was a really big guy back then. My waist was 54" and I read a few medical papers on the subject of subcutaneous injections of hcg vs intramuscular and it was shown that the absorption is relative to the adipose on the body. So with a 54" waist plus weight training, 250iu worked out as a very good dosage. By the end of that first cycle I vaguely remember injecting 220-230iu's. Waist is about 42" now and 190iu seems to be the perfect dosage. I need to get a linear equation setup ;)
I completely agree that IM absorption is much better than subq... just not everyone has your ability to work out the right dosage. Maybe you could share your formula of waist size to dosage as it sounds very interesting....
Evo - I am going to be starting weight lifting training (20-35 minute of medium - heavy weights with 14 reps x 3). This being free weight, leg curls, leg press, bench press etc etc - mix of machine / free. So, this being the case, do you think I am going to need to up my protein for Phase 2?? Did you in order to still lose weight? I would assume we would have to for basic muscle repair, but would like to speak with someone experienced with lifting.
