URG!! This is so frustrating!! I'm in P2D21 or a 26 day cycle - at first was losing a lb a day. Then I plataeued @ 130 for a long time, then I finally droped to 128 and stayed there a couple days. Then for some reason, the scale went back to 130! I was mortified! It stayed that way for a day or so then dropped back to 128 and this morning was 127. I haven't been cheating at all but admit I could be drinking more water, do you think that's what is causing this wackiness? I JUST want to get to 124 but it dosen't look like I will by the end of my 26 days :(

it could be all kinds of things, since women retain water for a lot of reasons. is TOM near?

if you're not cheating, then you know you're losing the most you can. :) It might also be an inconsistency with your scale- many home scales have the problem.

many women fall into a pattern where they stall or even occasionally show a small gain for 2-3 day, and then drop a couple of pounds- so inconsistencies are normal.

The less weight you have to lose, the more likely that is going to happen. It could be that your body has used up all its abnormal fat and it wants to stop losing weight. Listen to your body and how you feel. Don't push the last couple of pounds if it is going to risk making you ill.

well, my TOM just finished last week, and during that time I had a MEGA stall, like 9 days of staying in the 130, 129, 131, 130, 128, 130 range. EXTREMELY frustrating. Then I dropped to 126, then back up to 128! Errrrg! This morning it was 127.6. But I drank A LOT of water yesterday and took some potassium pills to pull the salt off my body. I think I am retaining a lot of salt and water and that could be the culprit. Salt is the only comfort item I can have on this diet and maybe I inadvertently consume too much and don't wash enough of it out causing my body to hold water.

how do you look at this point? is it possible your abnormal fat is gone? if so, you won't lose any more- but you would also get quite hungry.

Well I still have lower belly flab, but can get into a size 4 skirt, which defies all logic. My appetite is normal, so that's what's making me think there is more abnormal fat on me. But I could be wrong.

if your appetite is normal, you're probably right. but usually your weight loss slows down at the end, if you're close to goal. some of the "flab" could also be loose skin, which might tighten up in P3.

I am going to go back to an exercise program in P3 to tone things up. Was hoping belly would be flatter, and while I have lost about 10-11 lbs (hopefully for good, or at least semi-permanently)I guess there is no getting around the workouts for that "tight" look. It almost looks like the "blubber is in the skin, as opposes to being below it, if that makes sense.
