I am maintaining great in P4 and am really happy with it. I was planning to do another round starting Sept 25 but just can't do it right now due to life events (divorce :( ) and really high stress. So I want to wait until summer when my daughter leaves for 2 months.

Problem: I don't fit into pants! Size 14 is baggy, looks awful, Size 12 is tight, looks equally awful.

Is it okay to try to lose 10 pounds on the conventional diet methods? Would this mess up the resetting? Or should I just try to ride it out and wear a skirt every day?

I'm really happy with P4 and HCG. I've been in P4 about 4 weeks and flucuate from 163 to 167, my LIW was 166.6.

Yes - depending of what you mean by 'conventional' methods. Certainly some of them ain't so great.
Limiting carbs to less than 100 grams per day does nicely for many people; starting some moderate exercise too.

Thanks, hamp. I guess by conventional I was thinking Weight Watchers type dieting. :)

I'll work on limiting the carbs, or just by tracking those carbs to start with, and see how it goes. As for exercise...I know I should and enjoy it while in the moment but getting up the mental energy to start is where I struggle. The funny thing is I work in a recreation center and have never used the equipment.

If you were to follow the Weight Watcher "core or filling foods" plan, it is very healthy. Just counting points like ww does, will likely add on pounds if you are carb-sensitive. :)

There are apps and websites where you can enter your food items and see how the carb counts are -- very informative.

Gotcha on the mental energy to START -- it happens to avid exercisers too. But once I'm past my warm-up; I'm very happy I'm doing my workout.

i saw an interesting quote today in a bike shop: "motivation is what gets you started. habit is what keeps you going."
