Does stress while on the HCG diet contribute to gaiing or not losing weight? I am under some pretty bad stress and I am about to lose it all to go and have a juicy burger.
I have tried to increase my exersice routine. I take the stairs everyday at work. Parking farther when I go to the store and doing more housework. I work 14 hour days and am not a fan of the gym. I do have a treadmill, but by the time I get home I am so tired from the day I want to shower, drink some water and relax for an hour before bed.
I spend time at home on the weekends trying to get on that treadmill. I am sure me increasing the exercise will help in the loss of pounds but will it really hurt I I dont do much?
Actually it's better to do no exercise you're not used to. If you ramp up your exercise when your body isn't used to it, you'll tend to have more hunger.
DO you have to eat ONLY lunch and dinner? I have been reading a bunch of items online and in books and most of them say to skip breakfast. I would like to know if I could have a peice of fruit for breakfast and then just ahve my veggie and meat for lunch then another fruit for a snack then veggie and meat for dinner. I get a little tummy ache when I do not eat breakfast and it makes me a little grouchy.
You can eat your food in any order or time of day that you want. You are just not to eat both fruits at the same time. You also do not have to eat your fruits or your melba/grissini, if you do not want to but you MUST eat your protein and vegetables each day. I had my fruits for mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks but I tried not to eat the melba unless I made the P2 Chili.
What would happen if I did not eat both of my meats or not both of my veggies? I got home late last night and wasnt even hungry at all, so I skipped dinner. No veggie, no meat, I just grabbed a peice of watermelon and headed to bed. I do my first weigh in today and I am afraid that since I did not eat all my meats or veggies this week I may not have lost.
Well, watermelon is not an allowed fruit if you are following original protocol, way too much natural sugars in it! If you don't get your protein in you do run the risk of not losing as your body starts to think you are starving it even with hCG in your system. This diet is already a very low protein deficient diet and not eating your protein can be harmful, especially in the long run. The veggies help for fiber and keeping you regular but the protein is what really helps for weight loss. That is why in P3 and P4 if you gain more than 2 lbs over LDW you are to do a steak day or high protein day to bring the weight back down.
