    Grammy,

Im on day 12 Of R2P2 and today im up 1lb. I dont know what could have caused the gain, i was doing soo good and now this gain. :-( the only thing i took yesterday besides P2 food was Milk of Magnesium but that has never been a problem before. Should i do an apple day? Thanks

No you only do an apple day for a stall of 4 or more days and even then I think they are worthless. Did the milk of magnesia work? Maybe the problem is that you are constipated?

    Thanks Grammy for your reply,

Yes it did work which is why i dont understand the gain :-( I was so happy to be 150.6 because i thought for sure this week ill be in the 140's but with this gain 151.6 i dont know anymore....:(

Hmm, so it's not constipation. Are you near your period? What did you eat yesterday? Any shrimp or beef?

I ate grilled chicken breast yesterday with tomato for both lunch and dinner and i had a bottle of Perrier. I didnt drink much water though so it might be that.... i thought with an apple day i would loose any retained water.. Grammy im 15 days late in my period and im usually never late since im on birth control.. is this normal?

it's normal for hcg to mess with your periods. So it could be water retention. But an apple day is useless unless you're in a stall and even then it's questionable.

What do you reccomend i do grammy? i usually eat 1 fruit a day (orange or apple) should i skip the fruit today? I really want to get rid of this pound ....

Just eat normally and make sure you get your water in. You could skip 1 fruit today but I wouldn't skip both.

want2be- i wouldn't worry about it. you know you're not gaining fat, and the amount of water retain varies a lot. even if it's the start of a stall (common around this time), later on you'll lose a lot at once which will make up for it.

after the fat is gone from a cell, it takes a bit of time for the cell wall to break down. your body temporarily fills it with water until that happens- that's one of the reasons we don't lose the same amount every day.
