I've been on 120 of amour a day.

It's been a month, the doctor wants to test me at 6 weeks, I am tired, gaining, memory problem and low body temp.
97 degrees. I think I am not taking enough. Also the doctor only tests tsh, we were doing the free tests all along when I switched to her for a doctor and she wasn't even using those results and the tests were 200 each time. TSH is a cheap test.

Tomorrow I am going to add in a little cytomel to see if I feel better. I have been wiped out, and can't remember peoples names.
I was thinking of printing something out about amour and mailing it to the doctor before my test.
Is that okay to do? She is a very good doctor just isn't a specialist in this area.
    Advice?

I think that it would be fine to mail to it her....or better yet - bring it with you when you go see her for your test results/prescription. Tell her that you'd like to try more Armour.....to see if it does better for you.

It all depends on your doctor's attitude. I have moved on to another doctor twice already because they believe that the artificial stuff is just as good as Armour. Those moves were worth it because I do not do well on the chemical...seem to require the whole spectrum found in Armour. The fact that she only tests tsh is a dead giveaway. You need to also know free T3 and T4 and get a good patient history. Your body tells you as clearly as it can what you need. Try to talk to her. Maybe she has an open mind and willingness to learn about Armour instead of being hidebound. That would give you the best chance of making it work and feeling like you should.

It sure sounds like you aren't taking enough. I think it's fine to print out stuff for her. I did that with my doctor.

I know that my doctor would want me to contact her
immediately if my symptoms were so severe
that I was tempted to add/alter my daily meds.
And if she did not call back within hours
then my hubby would park us in the waiting room
    until she had 5 minutes.

She would tell me to go today and get my blood test
so she could have the results tomorrow
    and adjust my dose ASAP.

Then, hopefully, I would not need another blood test for 3 months.
