Yep - sounds like you are looking for an Oopsie Roll
here's a modified recipe for hamburgers:
Hamburger buns
Modified oopsie rolls for phase 2 - makes a GREAT bun for your hamburger or grilled chicken sandwich.
1 cup fat-free cottage cheese, drained and then blended 3 eggs, separated cream of tartar dash of salt
1) separate eggs and beat whites with cream of tartar until stiff 2) in a separate bowl, add yolks, drained curds, dash of salt (and add dash of sweetener if making rolls for a fruit dessert. Make sure your sweetener can handle being heated to 300 degrees) 3) beat yokes, curds and salt until well mixed and then slowly fold in the egg white mixture 4) drop 10 piles onto stick-free cookie sheets and spread around a little (more in the shape of a bun) 5) Bake about 25-35 minutes at 300 until golden brown. Remove, cool and enjoy
Note: since this makes 5 servings (top and bottom bun for your sandwich), it's not a whole protein serving. Count the calories (37 per bun; 74 cals per serving), but don't as your protein source.
