Hello everyone...So I am day #4 of the diet. I don't know that I loaded enough the 1st two days--I ate as much as I could possibly eat and felt overly full and stuffed the entire two days and I consumed a lot of fat and calories. I ate tons but actually lost 1 lb after the first 2 days. Is this normal? I had lost 1.5 lbs the 1st day and then gained back .5 lbs the 2nd day. As for day 3 well I lost 1 lb and so I am down 2 lbs from where I started in 3 days. I want to see dramatic results. I am sticking to the 500 calories but feel like I need something more. I am not so much hungry as not satisfied. Also I am finding it really hard to be able to not drink anything but water and coffee and to be able to eat all of the two 250 calorie meals at once. I need to be able to eat them throughout the day with some used as snacks for me to feel more satisfied, is this posisble? Can I split up how I eat the 500 calories?

Anyone out there who has lost 60 lbs or more?? I am hoping to lose 60 lbs, what is the fastest that people have done this? I am stepping up my workout intensity today and am determined to work out a bunch but I am also interested in being able to just get the weight off as quickly as posisble.

Amanda, your results for 3 days are fine....guys can lose 2 lbs a day, but unfortunately women average around .7 to 1 lb per day over the course of a round. I have lost 54 lbs, and it took me 4 rounds to do it. The more you lose, the slower it gets....but it does come off. Yes, you can break up your meals throughout the day, just don't change the composition of the 500 calories.....ie don't skip the protein to add an additional fruit.

Finally, many find that exercising causes water retention, which will show on the scale during p2 as slower weight loss, or even a stall. You may want to tame down your workouts while on p2 so you don't retain fluids.

Hang in there...you can do this :)

You say that you have done 4 rounds...did you do 4 rounds of 40 days on the injections or something else? I am doing the injections and I had planned on doing 40 days but am not sure that I can go that long eating like this. When does it get easier? Did you gain back weight when you were not on the plan? I am so nervous that I will go through all of this and that the weight will just come back on when I start eating normally again. I am thinking that it might not be the most healthy choice for me. What do you think?

Round 1 was (ahem) 64 days, round 2 was 23 days, round 3 was 34 days. I finished my last p2 in Feb, and I have kept the weight off. I mispoke above, I did 3 rounds not 4 ... sorry. For me, it was the best diet I have ever done, and probably the healthiest in the long run. You really learn about your body and what "food" really is by going thru this process.....you dont get that from weight watchers or nutrisystem. It gets easier in a few days...especially when you start seeing results. What dose are you using? Some find they need to adjust their dosage if they are still hungry after the first 3 to 4 days.
