update....mikkydee....I mixed a new batch today using all silver instead of vodka. What a difference (unless it's all just mental). I was hungry all day long for a week & today I feel great!

Hello all. GP here. (The Grand Pubah for newcomers)
There has been quite a bit of enlightening info come out the last 6-8 months about mixing the hcg for sublingual application. While there are many recipes out there floating around on the internet one should be careful where they draw their info from. The problem with some of the diluents in many recipes are as follows:
Never use alcohol to mix with your hcg. There are recipes that use alcohol with the idea that alcohol will actually help preserve the hcg.
the reason for this thinking is that alcohol is often used in mixtures of herbs and homeopathic solutions as a preservative. The reason however that it is not good to use with hcg is because it has been found to breakdown a protein in the hcg itself.
Also colloidal silver has also been found not to be the ideal diluent for the hcg as well. for a couple of reasons. Though many have used it and had success with it, (including myself) it is supposed to not mix well with the sodium chloride (if that is used as an initial diluent). secondly it also may react with the hcg and in rare occaisions cause a reaction not desired by the user. My info is sketchy on this but the source was a medical proffessional.

Lastly, the sublingual liquid b-12 used most often, has some form of sucrose (sugar) added to it. It is extremely difficult to find a b-12 without some form of sugar in it. Even those labeled sugar free will list as an ingredient "sucrose". Sugar in any form is strictly forbidden on the protocol and could slow down losses with some people even in this minute form.

I have in my experiences used all of the above on past rounds. I now have gone exclusively to using bacteriostatic water as the diluent of choice. In fact I have even started inncluding it in the mixing kits I sell with the hcg. The cost of the bac water is about the same or cheaper than these other diluents and it is sterile and has a preservative in it as well. That is the main difference between it and sterile water. No preservative in sterile water. The thinking is that it also helps maintain the potency of the hcg longer.

If you already have the colloidal silver it is probably fine. If not get bacteriostatic water to mix with if you want the best.

Yipes!! I have some concerns about my dh's mixing. On R1P2D5 and having good results but we used a mixing recipe of 100% vodka, glycerin and bact. water. We still have 15 days of HCG drops mixed with this recipe. Should we continue to use the drops that we mixed or throw it out and start again? We are taking 2.5ml 2x per day. Husband has lost 13lbs and I have lost 5.5

Really can't afford to throw out our HCG but I don't want to have difficulties in the future, we are planning to do a 40 day round.

Hi deelite, dickdastardly alerted me to the question. Sorry I missed your post. I found my hcg mixed with alcohol to seriously lose potency after 1-2 weeks. If your losses slow down to a crawl or your hunger returns I would remix without alcohol asap. I should have mixing instructions on my website soon. (www.gphcg.com)

ok, just read this, and I'm doing my second loading day!
I used 2 ml of vodka and 18 of B12... I guess I should redo it without vodka?
Also, I had diluted the hcg with 1 ml of B12 instead of the solvent.... noticed that it took a while for the hcg to dissolve... is the hcg compromised?
When I remix, should I just use 1ml of the solvent to dilute the HCG (did not want to use colloidal silver, heard mixed things on this?), and use 19ml of the B12 to make it 20ml?
    I use 5000IU so that's .5 twice a day sublingual for 20 days...
    Please advice, thanks.

I have been reading in these posts that it has been found that alcohol is not a good thing to use with the hcg. Could anyone tell me the source of this new information?
    Thanks
