I am finishing up my 3rd week on the HCG diet and I have lot 5 pounds total! I am sticking to the diet to the letter and not cheating at all!! I drink more water than needed, due to living in Phoenix, and I seem to be retaining all of the pounds from what I eat and drink. I tried the "apple day" and that did not help at all. My daily dose is 175iu in my injections. He wants me to back off one day a week but I am concerned that I have not lost pounds. My kids say I look like I am losing inches and friends have not made similiar comments. What am I doing wrong??

What have you been eating during the last 3 weeks? 5 pounds is very little to lose in 21 days if you're following the protocol correctly.

what type of injections are you using? Do you keep your hcg in a cold, dark environment? Do you feel hungry?

let us know the length of the needle, too.

    are your clothes bigger?

are you following the original protocol, or something from your doc? often they change it up a lot.

I'm on R2VLCD 12. I have only lost 5 pounds total. I have given up melbas & fruit -only eating the meat/veggie for meals. On my first round I lost 15 #'s. However, I have lost almost 3 inches in my waist and 2 from hips & thigh since I measured on 7/30. Will I finally catch up? Has this happened to anybody? Revived this thread to see if anyone has had a similar experience.

    Thanks

You'll probably need to add some more info for the experts that are going to answer. Such as what type of hcg you're taking, the dose, etc.

It sounds like you're losing great in the inches, though! I'd be happy to get thin, even if it meant the weight # stayed the same.

I know right? I guess I shouldn't complain so much! Guess I'll check the "stall" threads for assistance.
