Definately no fruits...just a little bit of veggies, like a salad. The point is to get mostly protein and fat, very little carb in the form of veggie or fruit.

so what makes everyone gain in p4? is it the sugar or the starch? for me, i think it is the sugar.

For me I think it is food cognibeeny. If I quit eating I am almost sure I could stabilize.

mcog- i think sugar is the worst, but that is partly because it also makes your body retain fluid- especially after eating low-carb.

Dr. S. says that the trouble comes with combining starch with fat (which, let's face it, is anything good!). pie, cake, cookies, pizza, etc., all combine starch and fat.

Just taking a peek around the P4 Lounge, all is well, just contemplating a steak and veggies for dinner. Haven't had much to eat today,I continue to be amazed how my hunger and cravings have changed, just don't really care much about food!

Going into p4 early, been stable. Can't wait till the 27th when I can do it all over again. one last time. I have pictures to show of me at 168 and me at 135. They are not great but the transformation is awesome. 2o more to go for my almost 5 foot frame.

Lindylu, you are doing awsome!! Peymor, great job too! What do you mean "going into p4 early"? It's still important to do a really good p3 to make sure you reset your hypothalamus well. Barb

Ok, I am hovering at 1.5 to 2.0 pounds above LIW. I can get it to go down to LIW with a high protein day, but then if I eat fruit or veggies, I go back up to this weight. At this weight, I can eat nacho chips, etc and not go up. Is my body telling me this is where I am stabilizing from this round? If so, that kinda sucks because it is just above what I wanted as my goal weight...maybe my body is telling me this is where I need to be. It's TOM which I know impacts, but even when I am not at TOM, I seem to be going up and down these same 2 pounds. GRRRRRRRRR Barb
