Do you all weigh in every morning during P4? It gets quite annoying having to wake up and check if i have gained or not let alone if weighing everyday for the rest of your life haha
Thanks Terri and Annette! Modom, good luck with that next round! enzymion, I am continuing to weigh, partly because I am just starting to ssslllooowwwlllyyy reintroduce starches and want to see what effect they have on my weight. As for the rest of my life...i dunno...I take it one day at a time. Pu bear, you are a lean mean pubah machine!!!! It's just your heart that is fluffy!! :)
Terri, as far as the last 5 pounds....I wish I could do it without hcg, but I am afraid they won't stay off if I just do conventional methods to lose them. After all, I couldn't get to where I am now with all the methods I tried, even daily 90 minute work outs didn't do it, so, I just don't know. Barb
Hi Barb, I'm here with you! Been in P4 since June 22 and had to do several steak days, but happy to be able to indulge in those P3 forbidden foods. I found out that it is very easy to go over 2lbs of LIW and weighing every morning is a must! I have been wondering if I screwed up resetting my hypothalamus because I lost more than 2lbs during P3!!! I am even thinking of doing another round just to reset properly, but I do not want to lose more than 8lbs. I don't know what I'm going to do at this point because I kind of enjoy not having restrictions on what I eat or drink. I still drink tea's and at least 1/2-1gal of water daily, I don't drink soda or juice, but like to unwind with a bottle of merlot on occasions. Decisions, decisions......what should I do?
Oh, a fluffy heart you say Kats? OK, as long as I can stay fluffy at heart AND be a lean mean Pubah machine.
I like it in here in the P4 lounge. Its like being the member of a special club. How much are dues? Can I like be someone's guest and get around the dues? Can I sell Pubah Nectar to raise money here for my GP scuba fund? And is it okay to just wear one scuba fin or is there a dress code? So many questions, so little melba toast.
I'm just ending my last P3 in one week and will be back to P4 by September 1 and looking forward to it again. So far on this P3, I have done really well and have not had to do a steak day. I have been staying within about 1 of my LIW, which is really nice even with a couple of days where alcohol was consumed. I really enjoyed having small treats and eating a more normal diet. I just didn't over do it and did fine. Also wasn't as hungry nor did I have the cravings I used to have. I enjoyed potatoes, rice, bread, pasta, chips, and a small amount of pie a couple of times. Keeping your water intake up is essential because when you add in the starches, your body will want to retain the water. I'll keep postiing.
O.K. so I started P4 on Saturday. So far I have introduced hot wings, mmmmm and watermelon. Oh yeah, and I also have a slice of toasted Ezikiel bread with peanutbutter in the evening with my camomile tea. Ooooo that's good. So my question is, if I go over my 2 lbs limit, will a steak day work on P4?
I don't have much time right now, but I wanted to join the "LOUNGE" not that P4 is easy for me yet. I've only been on P4 about 5 days now and didn't have a steak day, but I did a HIGH protein, water, fruit/veggies day. I dropped 2# overnight. Just going to take it slow and steady and keep the protein high. Haven't had a whole lot of sugar but I did increase my starches, probably a little to much over the weekend. Some bread, potatoes/roast, no sugar added blackberry pie, chili beans... ya, so yesterday I got hold of things and I'm back to LIW today!
I appreciate this P4 Lounge! I'll be checking in & out! I have 5-10#s to goal weight and haven't decided when or if to do another round. I feel great where I'm at right now. Had a FUN, "no tears" shopping spree on Saturday for new dress clothes! $350 worth of clothes, 5 complete pants outfits including 2 suits all for $125 bucks! The only tears I shed in the dressing room were tears of joy and acceptance as my husband said don't pick between them, buy them ALL. It was very good clearance prices and everything fit! That's a first!
