Internet issues at my house have been driving me crazy and have kept me from posting for the last few days. I officially completed my first week of P3 and I have been successful at keeping my weight fluctuations to within a 1.5 spread for the whole week. I really feel for the those of you who are struggling to stabalize and I wish all of you the best. I have been eating lots of protein each day with salads, veggies and fruit. I finally received my almond and coconut flour with my coconut oil and I about to start making some of the wonderful recipes. I am a bit nervous to start introducing these treats but I am really craving some new flavors.

I hope the scale is kind to everyone tomorrow morning!!

My schedule doesn't allow me to go to the gym right now. That should change in the next couple of days though. I just read where my new IUD (Sept 19) is the cause of weight gain in many women. As well as the fullness/bloating in my stomach and my nips feel like they have been dipped in boiling water! This was supposed to FIX my hormone problems....apparently not. Some women reported 30 lb gains and most reported 8 lbs or so. I'll be getting that puppy yanked out! I've worked too hard to lose it!

I meant that should change in the next couple of weeks. I currently travel between two towns for work and where I actually live. The commute is 1 hr 45 min, one way.

Well, today was my first p3 day, and I"m not happy with myself. I made that german pancake recipe (6 eggs, butter, almond flour, milk) It would have been fine had I not eaten almost the whole thing. My family didn't want any and so I just kept picking at it until there's only 1 piece left. Am I EVER going to get over my binge eating? I don't even want to get on the scale tomorrow. Should I not eat the rest of the day? Maybe I'll just have a little protein and some salad tonight. I'm discouraged. I see why everyone likes p2 better than p3. I don't like the freedom. I have to go to the hospital to see my dad, but I"ll log on as soon as I get back. Feel free to let me have it. xoxo

Lisa, I always suggest taking out cheese and eggs when the weight is going up and you can't seem to stop it. When doing a high protein day, I never do eggs or cheese just in case they are a problem. You might try a high protein day with no eggs or cheese. :-)

They are a recipe that someone gave on the forum. They are soooooo good. Here's the recipe..

    German pancakes
    Preheat oven to 450*
    Blend in a blender 6 eggs, 1 C. milk, 1 C. almond flour, 1/2 tsp. salt.
Cut 6 T. butter into a 9X13 cake pan and place in oven till butter is just melted.
Add egg mixture. Bake for 15 minutes

I really wanted to take things slow, but I didn't start out that way. I've been eating all day. German pancakes and chuck roast. I'm stuffed. I think I"ve undone 3 weeks of hard work. Did anyone else have this problem?? I wish there were a shot to take to fix my head. I just can't seem to stop eating sometimes. I did great on p2 though. How did I do that?? What are your secrets???
