    Which shake are we talking? If by the protein powder (whey) then it be about 20 g per scoop or more depending on the brands but check the ingredients list. some brands do contain starch though might be a little. At to what extent are we avoiding starch here? some meat product like sausages or so contains potato starch but in the ingredients list shows that its almost one of the last ingredients. Is that then ok to eat or even a dab of starch spells disaster? just wonderinnnn =D

    If it's way down on the list, you should be okay. Sugar is the same. If it's way down on the list, we can generally eat a bit. Like salad dressing.

    laura- lunch and dinner for today sound ok, but better to add a couple of eggs for breakfast. what probably tripped you up was that tortilla yesterday, along with the bacon and other fatty foods. for the first few days you need to ease back into regular meals, but still try to get the protein in. also don't forget those fruits and veggies! like you could have tried an omlet this morning, using 3 whites but only 1-2 yolks (if you wanted to decrease the fat) with onions, mushrooms, tomato, etc. fills you up, lots of food, gets your protein in, but not too much fat.

    for that dinner salad load it up with the low-cal/carb veggies and make sure you eat a good portion of chicken- at least 6oz.

    I'm not liking where I'm stabilizing this round. I didn't lose very much after my LIW and I seem to be stabilizing about 1.5 pounds above that. I'm tempted to do a steak day and get down to where i want to stabilize. What do you think, queen?

    Ok so no takers in this lounge. I guess I will have to go across the street to P4 lounge and round up the riff raff to form my club.

    Folks, the newly hired bouncer in the p4 lounge is tossing GP out, so he may be coming back to you guys. He wants to beat up everyone over there.

    Ok everybody, I didn't beat up everybody in P4 lounge. Only the ones who stabilized too easy. Also kats, you will find the empty skin of your bouncer in the floor over by the "pull table".
    Man, now that was some good life essence there!

    So no one has an opinion on whether I should do a steak day to get down to a weight I'm more like to be stabilizing at? :)

    colleen- you could try it, but i'm guessing that your body wants to stabilize where it's at. for my first 2 rounds i stabilized at least 2# below my LIW. for my third, it was about 1.5# above. i'd do a steak or protein day and it would come down, then when i'd start to eat regular P3 food it would go back up. i finally decided it was going to stabilize where IT wanted to, and not where I wanted it to! that's been my experience- but as we all know, each body is different!

    perhaps do a steak day and see what happens? can't hurt. if it jumps back up then i'm guessing it will do what it wants, because i know you avoid all starch/sugar. good luck!
