hopefully it comes with good instructions because I am confused. If one bottle last 10 days how will it be older than 14?
  1.  # 102permalink
It won't be. You don't want it to be any older than 14 days. After 2 weeks it starts to lose potency but you will have used it up in 10 days! :-)

ok. I got it Colleen. Thanks I went ahead and ordered since it is on back order till the 23rd. I hope i have better results next round. I have only averaged .5 this round althoug i am perfectly happy with that

nolt- how long was your first round? if just 23 days, you could treat these two weeks as a "break" and would probably be ok to do another short one. if you did a long round the first time, i'd say 2 weeks is WAY too short. i really think it's important to stabilize, too. i'm starting to see a pattern of people not doing as well on their 2nd round if they did not wait until they stabilized after their first. i see that you're only 2.8# up from your liw. when you say you can't stabilize, do you mean within the 2# range? some people will stabilize a little higher. the most important thing is that your weight stays fairly consistent, and you no longer see large spikes and dips in your weight from eating different foods. if you're consistent about 3# above your liw, i wouldn't worry.

although holidays are doable on P3, it depends on what your plans are- plus whether or not you have anything going during the mo of dec. when there are a lot of holiday parties. if your weight is all over the place, i'd wait until after christmas. it's not wasted time, because you'll be learning what your body will tolerate without gaining, and what it won't.

Thanks everyone for chiming in on my dilema...great advice to consider. :o) Maybe floating around that 2# above liw is very normal. I ate ALL protein yesterday and at dinner I added about 1 celery stick a few mushrooms and about 2 Tbsp of blue cheese dressing. I also started my TOM lost night, (a little early)...this morning I am up about a 1/2 lbs. Not really sure b/c the scale gave me a different reading every time I stepped on it, so I am taking the average. Anyway, if this is good and not a big deal, then great. I just thought having an all protein day would drop some weight to get me below my liw. That is what I was thinking I really needed to do. Is it okay for me to just wade thru the next 4 days or so, and not get too concerned about my weight b/c of my TOM. If I go about 1/2 lb more than what I am today, then technically I have to do a steak day, but this could all be my TOM. That I am very confused about. I don't want to be so technical that I get worked up about it, which is what I am doing.....I am so careful and do not cheat at all, so this fluctuation is killing me sometimes...lol I was very dissapointed this morning with the little gain with eating so much protein, but I need to let some of this go and see that I am staying between my liw and the 2 lb gain.

Oh yes, mgsondance....I did a 31 day round, so I am thinking it is probably best to go the full 6 weeks and wait till after the holidays...I am going to see where I am at in December, but that is the way I am leaning. I just don't want to have to wait 8 weeks between round 2 and 3. That feels like I will be doing this for almost all of next year, and that seems too much to think about for today. ;O) Also, thank you for talking to me about how I may just stabalize above the 2# range...that takes some of the pressure off. I need to focus more of staying consistent within a certain range instead of the numbers have to be a certain place...That information is so helpful to hear!! YEAH!!! Thank you for taking the time to talk me through some of this....

    Tina,

As for starting your next round, I only know that I would be miserable being on P2 or the beginning of P3 during the holidays. I also know that 2 weeks of P3 is wayyyyy too short. So, those things combined, if it were me, I would wait and start my next round in January. Wow, okay, it IS me...I'm going to load beginning either Jan. 2 or 3 (the 3rd is my birthday! :) ) So it looks like we would be buddies on this round! This will be R3 for me. Also, I will be doing a short round as it seems that most lost the majority of their weight in the first half of the round, it's not a very long time, and if I still skip a day I can still only skip 3 weeks before starting another short round. However, after that round I will take a full 6 week break before doing my next 2 short rounds.

As for your weight gain, I think you said that the .5 you gained this morning still doesn't put you over 2 lbs of your LIW, so you may want to just eat another high protein day and see what happens in the morning. I suspect you will show a loss once TOM is over.

Margie is right (as our Queen always is!) in that you may just need to stabilize a little higher. Your body will let you know that too...if you gain to a certain weight, do a steak day and lose it, but then gain back to that weight, and repeat that cycle a couple of times, your body is telling you that it needs to stabilize at that higher weight. She is also right about using the time during the holidays to learn more about your body. That is just as important in terms of learning valuable information for a lifetime of success!

I am so glad that you and Heather and I are at the same point. It makes it even more fun to go through this together! Believe in yourself...I do! Please feel free to email me anytime if you'd like. My email is jacklinmc5@aol.com.

tina- everyone wants to stabilize below their liw, but i'd say most people stabilize above it. i also would not worry much if you know you're retaining water.

one day at a time. i know we are all anxious to get all the weight off asap, but i think the long breaks allow our bodies to settle in a bit better. and you could probably get away with just a 6-7 wk break after R2. barb says that more is known about meds like hcg now than they did back then, and that there should not be an immunity worry after a 6 wk break. did i get that right, barb??

Great info mgsondance....I am very thankful for this morning, b/c it seems like I have stayed the same weight, maybe down a half pound, even with eating eggs. I may actually be stabalizing a bit. I am going to try some cheese today, just a little, but some to see how that goes. Plus my TOM hit hard today, not that you needed to know that, so if the scale is saying the same and still under that 2 lb. worry, then I am thinking I am doing very well. Today starts week 2 for p3, so I am hoping that I am starting to stabalize.

I never thought about the fact that my body could build up an immunity if I don't wait the 6 weeks are so. I am very glad to know the reasoning behind the 6 week wait. That makes me want to wait the six weeks and not ruin anything. THANK YOU!!!! How is everybody doing today?

Wow, i am not sure what happened here, but I got up and had a 2 lb. loss, even with eating eggs and some cheese. I am so thrilled and Iguess I will see what today holds. I am so ready to try some different things, but I am going to take it really slow. Hope everyone is having a good day!
