i think the trends for blood types are just that- trends. it's written from a perspective of genetic tendencies- but now we have so much processed food, food sensitivities that are caused by so many other things.

annette- do you mean you didn't do well on it, in terms of your weight? 'cause you stuck to it for a long time. but i think a lot of vegetarians do not get enough protein.

Well I ended up getting NOW brand Super Enzymes. It says "Supports Healthy Digestion breaks down fats carbs and Protien Optimizes Nutrient uptake" It doesn't have the hydroloic Acid but it does have something called ox bile Extract saying it's 45% Cholic Acid. I don't know what that means. I Was wondering it says to take 1 do I take 1 with each meal? Thanks

Tryingtomakeit--we've had super success with Jarro-Zymes Plus...highest amt of amalyse and protease for extra digestion. My husband (A blood type) eats meat at restaurants and they work great for him. I'm not convinced of the eat right for your blood type diet as have been on it and have also been on other food plans that work better. You have to experiment with what works best for your body. When it comes down to it...what you THINK is true...becomes true. I'd also check the added ingredients of the NOW brand items...they sometimes add fillers to their products.

Enzymes help your body digest dairy and meat. Veggies will do the same thing if you eat enough raw/organic ones, too. (Personally I'd rather eat the enzymes!) The papaya enzymes are what we give our daughter. But be careful with those as the sugar adds up. Bromelain is also great as a digestive aid. Taken on a full stomach and it helps to digest food. Taken on an empty stomach and bromelain helps to relieve inflamation (aches, pains,). I think your new name is MADEIT (instead of trying to make it!) stay positive!! Eme

Something else that works as well for me as enzymes is lemon juice. There's a supplement called chlorella that's a green and it's super good for you but some of us don't have the enzyme to digest it. I get violently sick and vomit for two days if I take it. BUT if I take it with lemon water, voila, no problem. There are tons of natural enzymes in fresh lemon juice plus the acid.

I wanted to bump this thread b/c enzymes have become my new best friends. I picked up the vitamin shoppe brand multi-enzyme and I am loving it. I have not been having an trouble with the foods that normally give me hell. I was able to eat eggs during this P3 without gaining. Love them...best 6.99 I have spent in awhile

The best digestive enzymes I know of cost more than what I see here, but are sold at any B.E.S.T. practitioner, by the Morter Alka-Line. If you don't have one in your area, go to www.mortersupplements.com. They have 2: use the Alka-Pan for meat. They also do wonders with sinuses, as they move mucus out of your system. I can't use any other brand, but twoangels and everyone else here are right. Digestive enzymes will do you wonders!

OK...probably heading into TMI territory here, so sorry. :-) I've been reading here about the enzymes and I have a stupid question -- When you all say you take these because you have trouble digesting meat or whatever -- what exactly does that mean? Do you get constipated? A stomach ache? Or is it the opposite and you have diarrhea or frequent BMs?

Before I was on this diet, I found that sometimes eggs (and coffee) resulted in me needing to have several BMs right away after eating them. Ice cream sometimes does this too. Is that considered a digestive issue? Or maybe what you all refer to as a food sensitivity?

    Thanks!

Can someone help out with Brands? Where they bought it? Dosage and price? What about probiotics? (same request). There are SOOOOO many in the market!
