Alrightie! I have done quite a bit of reading about the HCG diet but some things are not too clear to me, please don't get annoyed by all my questions but on phase 2 I understand you can't have sugars and starches, I know milk and fruit contain sugars, does that mean I'm not to eat any dairy products or fruit? and if I am indeed allowed only certain fruit and dairy then which ones are they? and which ones am I supposed to stay away from? I have not yet received my HCG in the mail (it takes a while because I live in Germany) but I want to be prepared and know everything I need to know b4 starting and I appreciate you guys helping me.

    Thanks guys!

caribeanqueen, have you read Dr. Simeons Pounds and Inches? What you can and cannot eat is in that and it is very important to read that first. There is a link to it in the upper left hand corner. Read that first and then type in newcomer information in the search bar up on top and you will find lots of helpful information. It really is important to be fully informed before you start so that you can get the full benefit of the hcg. Good luck, you will love this protocol.

Well, Mags, my best friend ordered the hhcg (Mediral) and she's going to get started. She wanted to do the homeopathic because she was a little nervous about it all and that seemed "safer" to her. I'm excited for her. At my conference everyone was just shocked at how I looked. I fielded more questions about the diet than about writing! LOL

Hello all! Rockymountain I did click on that link last night and read some pretty good stuff but I saw nothing about the foods on phase 3, maybe I didn't read the whole thing, I will look again thanks for the info. And Grammy, I am flying back to Miami in January and I want a shocking reaction from my friends and family just like you got at your conference! I can't wait to start.

Not sure if I've seen this anywhere before, so I'll ask it. I know that some people stop doing injections when TOM arrives, but what about the homeopathic drops? Should I take a break for those few days, or just keep taking the drops?

I am terribly confused. I "thought" I was going to start hhcg on Thursday, using Thursday and Friday as load days. Then I thought I could pick 23, 28, or 40 days for P2R1, then if you still had not lost what you want, another P2 but round 2. I also thought that when you were close to the weight you wanted to be, you went to P3 and on to P4. Is there something I can look at that tells me how long I will be on each round and what the criteria is. I just want this to work for me and really want to do it correctly, as I have about 55-60 pounds to loose. I do not have a good support system so I have been reading all I can on various hcg forums. Any help from you all would be so much appreciated.

Oh, and also, do I start off with the recommened dosage and increase if I need it? And how will I know that I need it. I am so very nervous about messing it up. Thanks and sorry for the questions, but isn't that what a forum is for : )

deb- you can do any length round you want to, between 23 and 40 days. then you do P3 for 3 wks, P4 for 3 wks, then start your 2nd round. although Dr. S. says to take a total of 6 wks off, some people only take 3 (so they do P3). i did a short, long, short- all with 3 weeks between. then took 6 wks off and i'm on R4. but i've been more hungry this round and think i may have reached partial immunity. you might want to do a short round, then 3 wks P3, then another short round, then 3 wks P3 plus 3 wks P4.

your weight loss slows down considerably after a couple of weeks, so i stay more motivated by doing only short rounds (23 days).

go to the search bar above and enter "newcomer"- there is info there that might help.
