    You know what ? I'l b on day 36 when tday hits!Its ok though, i didn't eat much last year and i have alterations to the plan for this year so i won't be tempted.i can have chkn and mashed caulfour w cumin and i can have a tiny sliver of pie made w stevia and no butter and eat no crust

    for those of you who told me not to be upset about my mess up yesterday I want to let you know I gained 2 lbs. Stay away from deli roast beef. I read every single ingredient and even bought the most expensive organic one and for that I gained 2 lbs. I was devastated this morning and have no idea what to do now. Do I do a steak day or an apple day?
    I was also starving all day yesterday which tells me that something is up with my HCG. Willing to be it has lost potency.

    You don't do either of those things, Erecca. A steak day is for P3 and an apple day is for a stall of more than 4 days. You just drink plenty of water, stay on protocol and keep your chin up! It will drop right back off. :-)

    Sorry Erecca, bummer. I have gained too on this diet on some days, and then it comes right back off. I personally think it's more important that you eat when your body needs you to. You have lost so much so quickly, it's just a minor speed bump. Well i hope you enjoyed your roast beef though. When i had it, it tasted like nirvana, lol.

    I read elsewhere that someone was up to 35 drops three times a day, so you might try that.

    Don't forget i have some unopened PCFH to sell, and their Weight Off too. I can give you a good deal since i'm not going to use it.

    Thanks Beestly. I only have 7 days left so i don't want to buy anything else. I am just going to struggle through and see what happens. I am loading on the water today as I also have a headache.

    So I am assuming shrimp causes less weight loss, it seemed to happened with me. I had shrimp for lunch and lost .4 this morning. No more shrimp for me!

    Hi everyone! R1P2D2 225 lbs. I got my drops yesterday and started as soon as I ripped open the package! I have been soooo ready to start. I loaded yesterday, but lost 2.5 lbs which I attribute to it being the first day of my period. sigh, hey I gave it the good old college try! I ate so much Halloween chocolate I felt sick. Today I'm trying just for good ole fatty food, and to stay away from sugar!! I know that's better for me in the long run.

    Nutshell, hang in there! I will be praying for you during this difficult time! You've been such a support to others, it's time to give back big time. You've been such a blessing to me, and I haven't even started the VLCD's yet!

    Can't wait to start this journey!

    No weight loss for me today. Day 5 is a bit of a stall it looks like. Hubby still lost another 2 pounds though! I'll have to review my eating the last two days and see what I did differently.

    Even though I didn't lose much weight the last two days, I have another reward in being able to get into a pair of old jeans I haven't worn in years! Not only that, but I can actually -sit down- in them. The last time I wore them, they pinched something awful when I sat. Woot!

    Sands391. We're a day apart! Sounds like you did great on your very first VLCD. Good for you! About the Thanksgiving day thing, it sounds like you've already gotten some great advise, but I just wanted to put my two cents in too! I really believe that you will need to stick with your 500 calorie plan, as much of a bummer that is. If you had been going longer prior to TG, you might have been able to quit a bit early and then stick to VLCD 3 days after your last drops, and then start P3 on Thanksgiving, but you will fall right in there so that if you eat you will gain big time! (if you go all out you might gain as much as 5-6 lbs!!!). Dr. Simeons says that the body will pack on fat at an alarming rate when the HCG is still in your system and that's why the VLCD for 3 days after cessation of drops. I'm guessing that's why I always gained 10 lbs in the first 2 weeks of each pregnancy!! ESPECIALLY if you've just lost alot of fat, your body will be even more efficient at packing on those fat pounds if you start to eat again. From what I've heard, excercise won't help either. Please just plan and bring your own baggies of food! I know it's easy for me to say, Canadian Thansgiving is already over! Phew! hang in there and don't get discouraged. I'm betting by the time Thansgiving rolls around, you will be so pleased with your loss that you won't want to eat all that nummy stuff at your Moms! I keep saying to myself, I've eaten that before, i know what it tastes like, I don't need to taste it again, it will just make me feel like crap tomorrow (especially when I step on the scale!!!). You can do it!

    Yeah Brandeline! The jeans don't lie! Don't get discouraged. Try not to compare with hubby as he will loose probably 30-40% more weight than you overall. Just keep going and it will come off. Good luck!
