I guess I can lounge here for awhile. I did 14 days on h.drops through changes for life & after the 1st week of headache, hungry all the time, it wasn't so bad. I had lost 14 lbs by then. But I decided to venture to the tummy needle & life has taken on a different theme. It was like starting over. I really should have finished out my 23 day on just the h.drops & not switched. 'I'll know for R2. I have sold my other bottle to a friend so she might pop in on occasion or I might like to sit a spell myself. :) Who knows I might venture make to the "bottle" of h.drops next round instead! Good luck everyone = we all know that the drops work on us .

What about hhcg injections? Supposedly that is what my dr. has me on. I'm gonna do the real deal next time.
this is my 4th day and I don't feel so well.
Hopefully by next week it will be better.
Though right now I would kill for a glass of milk

I am in my first round of HHCG drops, and without looking at the calendar I'm close to being around day 23 or so. I am down 23 pounds and only had hunger for the first couple of days. I work really hard shifts of 12 hour days for two weeks and then 12 hour nights for two weeks so my doctor put me on 4 doses per day of 15-20 drops per dose. She said my akward sleeping patterns was throwing me off and that extra dose has really helped with hunger and weight loss.

She originally had me set for a 41 day cycle saying that was as long as I could go without running the risk of stalling due to body creating a tolerance to it. I think I am going to be so close to where I want to be at the end of the 41 days I am going to try to stretch it out til I hit my weight.

I was about to say the same thing, Margie. I'm a pro at all things homeopathic. My naturopath put me on them for four years and I've had just about all of the them under the sun. They work on energy theory and it involves taste and smell as well. Something doesn't make sense with an injection.

I'm using the same drops as Travelfan, and have lost 12.5 lbs. so far (R1P2D18). I was out-of-my-mind starving the first few days, but I will tell you that most of the time it was MENTAL and EMOTIONAL, not physical. I was a loyal Weight Watcher attendee for almost three years (down 30 lbs. on WW) before I decided to try this, so it was a REALLY big mental shift for me and, I admit, I had trouble adjusting. Even now, with only five days to go on P2, I have my moments... and the occasional rumbly tummy.

Most of the time I'm glad I went with hhcg because it's the easiest and most convenience option... but sometimes I wish that I'd gone with the pharmaceutical-grade drops instead (I also didn't get all the mixing, etc., so just went with hhcg). Perhaps their potency would have curbed my hunger better and, most important, given me better results.

Not that 12.5 lbs. isn't a big deal... I haven't lost that much on WW in almost TWO YEARS, so believe me, it's a big deal... but when you've been trying to lose the last 20 pounds for two years and you make the plunge into something fairly drastic like this protocol, you can't help but hope that you're doing EVERYTHING you can to maximize your efforts and have the best success possible. So I find myself wondering if I should have tried the pharm-grade drops... hindsight, right?

I do wish I were down a bit more, with only 5 days of P2 left to go... but I'm still pleased because my body is absolutely RELENTLESS about letting go of fat. (Remember, before this I was on WW and an avid exerciser, 5 days a week running and weight-lifting, and had only lost about 6 lbs. in 2 years. NO JOKE.) I just hope I can stabalize in P3, I hope I hope I HOPE!!!

You could continue on for longer, CleverGirl. Is there a reason you want to stop at the 23 days? You should be past the worst of the hunger so you could go on and get all of that 20 pounds you want to lose.

I did Homeopathic drops 6 times a day starting at 5 drops each equalling 125 IU a day. By week three I increased dosage to 7drops 6x a day. (175 IU a day). and found that worked best for me. The BIG mistake I made was NOT LOADING PROPERLY...only did one day and boy oh boy was I hungry for a week! Decided to go as long as I had drops and lasted 30 days--lost 17 lbs!!! I ordered more drops and am starting next round on Oct 1st for the last 10 (if my body allows).

I was so nervous in P3--went on a biz trip, brought as much food as I could, ate out twice, but only gained 1lb...wow. usually when flying I'd gain 5 minimum! dropped it within 2 days of returning home. Now on P4 for 2 days and I actually ate a tuna sandwhich on ezekiel bread...so satisfying...but did not have urge to have chips with it. The drops helped me (i do homeopathic for the family in many areas) so i was mentally primed for them. I think it's also an individual thing whether to go shots or drops. this whole protocol is also about seeing what works with your body.

I don't have any other experience except the homeopathic drops so I can't speak on the shots or mixing solutions. Best to you, Clever Girl! Eme

Colleen, I can go longer if I want??? I would LOVE to go for 30 days because, as you said, I'm past the worst of the hunger and would like to see if I can get closer to that 20-lb. mark (because I'd like to get away with doing only one round, if possible). I purchased the "23-day" package, so I simply assumed that I should only be on it for the 23 days per my protocol instructions. (The protocol I received follows Dr. S protocol , unlike some of the instructions others have received.) But if I can keep going, then YOU BETTER BELIEVE I'll be staying on it for an extra week!! Thank you, Colleen, for raising my awareness! (Hitting my head like I'm in a V-8 commerical right now. :)

However, that brings up another question: Do homeopathic drops lose their potency, as the pharm-grade drops/shots seem to? I have plenty of drops left for an additional week, but I want to be sure they're still good; otherwise, I'll order some more for my final week.

Eme... thx for your insight! I also had to up my dosage from .4 ml, as instructed, to .5... evenings are my worst time, so sometimes I'll even take .6 ml just so that I won't feel hungry and be tempted to cheat. Hope that's ok! (If not, someone let me know.) You're right on, though, about this being a trial-and-error process... for me, this protocol has been the ultimate exercise in phsysiological detoxing and fine tuning!

Thanks to all of you for your help... I feel so much better knowing I can bounce my thoughts and questions around in here! A lovely lounge, indeed... :)

I haven't done the hhcg so others can advise better, but I've heard it does NOT lose its potency. But you don't hit immunity with either sublingual or hhcg so you could continue on for even 6 weeks and probably lose the whole 20 pounds you need to, then do your 6 weeks of stabilization and be at your goal for the holidays!
