Jen, stop cheating missy! You'll only make yourself feel bad woman!

Interesting this whole "hovering" idea is.... I've been hovering at 145-146 like MAD. Like 4 days. This morning (VLCD 13) I stepped on the scale and had a .8 gain. WTH. I'm told because I'm sick & I'm gaining water weight. I suppose I have .8 worth of CONGESTION in my head, seriously it's bad! But then again, I have not been able to get below 145 the past two years. 145 is the "magic number" welllll it can kiss my butt! I'm on this diet for a reason! Dude. If I am "hovering" does that constitute an apple day yall think? I'm thinking the apple day is for a complete stall, but if I'm at the same weight I was 4 days ago, would that be the same?

amy- you could do an apple day, but if you're sick i'd say your body needs the protein. the apple day is only psychological, anyway- it just helps you drop the water weight which will come off eventually on it's own.

Mad Mommy, think twice about going 60 days straight. For one thing there is the immunity issue. For another thing, the losses slow down after a month and when you take a break and let your body catch up to to its new set point then go again, the losses ramp right back up again.

I'm new to this but have been reading the threads each day and I cannot begin to tell you all what an inspiration you've been. I'm on R1P2vlcd24 and I'm down almost 13lbs. I'm sooo excited.

Oh Amy. I am so glad that you posted. I have hovered around 139.8 for the past 5 days and I am on VLCD 15. I weighed 139.8 on Thursday then I dropped .2 then I gained and when I weighed today I am still at 139.8. It is an old set point that I could never break through with exercise. I hope that is the reason I am stalling.

I am doing my first apple day and hopefully it can jump start things. I am glad you posted because I was getting discouraged. I hope you recover from your cold soon.

TOM came Friday so I discontinued the Sublingual hcg until this morning.

    Sunday VLCD 14: 158.6 down 1.2
Today VLCD 15: 158.6 down 0.0, but I restarted hcg this morning so I hope it helps.
    TOM is still hanging on.

Just finished VLCD injections. Will start P3 in two days. I lost 14lbs after 23 days. My husband lost 20.5 in 23 days. I was a little disapointed but my goal weight is only 5lbs away. I have never lost 14lbs in 23days before! On any other diet it would take at least 3 months. HCG Rocks!
