So I am brand new to this diet... not even done with week one yet. I haven't cheated yet, but was curious if anyone has cheated and what happened when you did? I certainly don't want to cheat and don't have plans of doing it, but let's be honest here, when you are the only one in a household dieting cheating tends to occur here and there. Tell me your thoughts. Thx! ; )

Yes I cheated....went to a Dallas cowboys football game and had two rum and diet 7-ups and beer.YES it made a difference,I stalled for almost a week.I learned my lesson never again.I am in P3 now and lost 41 lbs and 25 inches.Really try not to cheat, heck I might of lost 5 more lbs if I didn't cheat.

I guess TECHNICALLY it is cheating, but the only thing I have done is when making the kids lunches for school, a Cheetoh would hit the counter instead of the ziploc bag and I would INDULGE myself in that one cheetoh, just for the taste. Only done it once, maybe twice, and only one cheetoh each time. Didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

kschott, most have vowed never to cheat again after doing so, because sometimes the consequences can be horrible...like 4 lb gain overnite!!! At a minimum, the clinic I went thru told you that if you cheated, might as well figure on mentally flushing away that days shot, and the next 3 days worth of shots...because it takes you that long to get back on track. If you are only doing a 23 day round, that is costly flushing!!!

I "cheated" with rice crackers because I have a gluten allergy and can't have melba toast and that made my weight loss change a lot. So, I have now vowed to not have any toast.
I also went through a clinic once and I cheated and my weight went back up and then I had to lose it all over again. It took an extra week to get back to where I was before I cheated on such a small thing. SO not worth it to extend the diet longer fo rthat little cheat . I would rather finish the diet and then eat what I want sooner

    I haven't. It's just not worth it.

And not only do I have crackers and chips in my cupboard for my guy, but I work in a gourmet food store.

i confess. i was disappointed when my weight stalled for two days then went up and down .2-.6 oz and i stole half a peanut. later ate the left over apple piece that exceeded my diet allowance and...i even had a mini candy another time. its 4 days since the stalled weight and i've gained a pound. to be honest, i've thought of giving up... maybe i'm not ready.... but i read your posts and feel encouraged to continue. its day 12 of phase 2 and i've lost a total of 12 pounds. i want to lose as much as i can on my first round. i felt comfortable 20 pounds lighter but my goal is 50. i'm using the homeopathic drops. by the way, has anyone's drops tasted bad, like horrible chinese herbs? my first half bottle tasted a bit like cherry cough medicine but this second bottle is really awful. any ideas as to why? i'm on a program with an independent contractor. thanks for listening

phoenix- we have all SO been there..... if your worst cheat over time ends up being 1/2 peanut and some extra apple, you're grand. :) The candy might have hurt you a bit, though. it's discouraging when you don't see the scale go down, i know. but if you're 12 for 12 you're still higher than average if you're a gal. over the length of the protocol women average .5 to .75/day. everyone wants to lose more, but we have to be realistic in knowing you're losing a lot more than with any other program. you lose a lot in the beginning and then it slows down considerably as your body adjusts. it's also quite common to stall at the 1-2 wk point.

I am just ending my 13th day and have not cheated yet, I have lost everyday even though there have been 3 or so days where it was .6 .7 of a pound. I did one day just stay the same, but then the very next lost 1.5lbs.
Its's not worth it to cheat and I would rather beat the living tar out of myself before cheating...
Getting rid of this weight Ive carried around for 5yrs surpassings any cheating feelings.
Oh and Ive lost 17.5 lbs in 13 days.
