Almond meal and almond flour are similar. Almond flour and meal are both just ground up almonds. Almond flour is most often made with blanched almonds (no skin), whereas almond meal can be made either with whole or blanched almonds. In either case, the consistency is more like corn meal than wheat flour. I find that for the most part they can be used interchangeably. You could check out Whole Foods. That is by far a larger store. Darn, I was at Dierbergs tonight and should have looked to see if they still had the unsweetened coconut. I think it was near the spices. So, I am guessing you got the almond butter at Trader Joe's. -

My question is this:
I'm on R1D21 and was planning on only doing the 26 day program (homeopathic drops). I have lost 13.6 pounds. Not as much as I wanted to lose. Should I continue past the 26 day program and go for longer? So I can lose more weight? My weight loss has slowed down (only losing .2 lbs the last 3 days).
However I have been looking forward to P3 and slowly adding more foods back in. So I"m not sure if going longer than 26 days is a good idea or not.
I tried on clothes this morning; amazingly pants that were too tight DO fit now and I'm thrilled!! So it's obvious I've lost inches despite the fact that I have not lost as much pounds as some others. -

enbmom, you have been slowly adding more foods back in? You are not supposed to add anything untill you are on P3. That is probably why you haven't been loosing much. Stick to the protocal till the end, it works! Good luck!

Ok, I am getting things ready to do round 2, in a few weeks and I purchased my own hsg and will mix it myself this round. But I have a question about my dosage from my first round. I went to a clinic and they mixed the hcg and didn't tell me how much I was recieving each day. They gave me 25 g x 1' 3cc syringes and instructed me to fill up to the mark next to the 1 each day. Does that mean that I was getting 1cc a day? I did good on this dosage and lost 25lbs in 23 days and I want to do the same dosage this next round.
I bought 2000iu viles and will mix it with 5cc's of bac water to get the 200iu injections. But if I use the same size syringes to inject, would I fill it up to the 1 mark?

your mixing syringe should be much bigger than the syringes you use to inject. Many people use insulin syringes to inject. Not sure about the amount to inject with those amounts. -

Cathy, I know that, I have a large syring to mix with. I was asking about the injection syringe is I buy the same size that the clinic had.
