    I just started my first ever round today, and my friend called to see if I would go to Aquafit with her next wednesday, is this okay?

    I swim a mile every monday and no problems--it even makes me feel better. I think exercise is good. I do something every day.

    i swam a few laps today and it was fine... i wouldn't really do a whole munch of them or you'll get cravings (burn way too many calories.. if you can believe that).. if you are just going to have a good time then go for it!!

    I do. I take a SmartWater with me to make sure I replenish. Helps a lot.

    In P&I, Dr. S actually says "We encourage swimming and sunbathing during treatment, but it should be remembered that a severe sunburn always produces a temporary rise in weight..." So I make sure I swim and sunbathe whenever I want and if the hubby complains, I just say, "Dr's orders!" lol

    I love to swim! and i think its better than running.. gets the whole body involved.. thats my personal opinion but i think the low stress on the joints and things would be great for P2... i swam a few days a week and i loved it! :)

    just make sure you stay hydrated.. that was part of my issue because i didnt think about drinking water in a pool ... :)
